Over the next ten years or so, Fort Collins is expecting upwards of 100,000 newcomers! What motivates a thirty-something New Yorker to move to an apartment they've never seen, in a town they have never visited? This week we’ll find out! With a background in the tech field and armed with a Masters Degree in Science Writing from Johns Hopkins University, Rachel Spurrier landed here in Fort Collins just shy of two months ago! Originally from Texas, Rachel comes to NOCO after having lived in Brooklyn and Manhattan, almost long enough to be considered a real New Yorker! We’ll find out all about Rachel and her journey to NOCO and along the way, of course, we’ll discover her musical side as well! Darin is moving on from his post at the helm of City government, but will still be very much involved in shaping the future of Fort Collins in his new career.  Sure, for the last 17 years Darin has led Fort Collins through one of the most transformative periods in the City’s history – but more importantly, he’s the guy who was the inspiration for The Flipside!
