Also talked about the ways his organization is working on helping get refugees established in the community and how they are able to provide for themselves. Jen Oxborrow and Greg Butler-Utah Domestic Violence Coalition and Woods Cross Police Chief respectively-Discussed some of the recent disturbing and tragic cases of domestic violence we’ve seen here in Utah, and what people should have watching for to try and help the victims. Also talked about some of the warning signs of domestic violence and how to spot if someone is being abused. Ronnie Daniels-Alzheimer’s Association of America-Discussed the importance of funding research into finding a cure for Alzheimer’s and some of the stresses and burdens the disease places on the family and loved ones of those affected.

Todd Thatcher-Valley Behavioral Health Clinic-Discussed the need many people currently behind bars have for mental health treatment over incarceration. Also talked about the efforts being made by the organization to help treat mental health issues with the homeless and getting them on their feet. Concluded by going over the disturbing rise in youth violence and suicide, and what some of the warning signs are that parents should be looking for.

Dr. Anne Kieryn and Liz Palazzolo-Mountain Medical-Discussed the low mammography rates here in the state, and the ongoing danger that poses to the health of women across Utah. Also talked about how increased breast cancer awareness if helping curb the incidents of it being fatal. Concluded by once again going over the importance of getting screened early and often, as well as the survival rates of those who are proactive about making sure they're getting screened.

Nate McDonald-Department of Workforce Services-Discussed the growing job market in Utah and how the surge of tech companies coming to the state has helped the economy grow. Also talked about different programs offered from workforce services to help train people to fill the emerging jobs, and what jobs are available now that are posted on their website. Concluded by going over the data of the Utah job market and what fields have the biggest immediate need.
