feeder sound 118 mixed by Julia @Matuss [Absence Seizure]

Happy Friday, everyone! This week we travel to New York but what we have here is a bit of a Ukranian flavour attached.

Currently living in New York and the head of Absence Seizure label, Julia Matuss made her mark by being one of the most talented and sought-after djs in all of Ukraine. What is unique about Matuss is that she is consumed by music and the results of her obsession are projected onto audiences when she performs.

“In this mix I wanted to showcase some of my favs – the obsession with Abe Duque remix and love for aliens, some dark and bass oriented groovy things. Plus, dig into my piano roots toward the end for that jazzy connection..” – Julia Matuss

"A dark atmosphere comes to the surface when hitting play and you will instantly know that you are in for a deep journey. The bass gently kicks in and along with some misty background sounds makes for a cuddly feeling. As the mix goes on, trippy hi-hats and jungle-like vibes will make for a more faster and dance floor oriented rhythm, just the thing to get you going for the weekend ahead."

"Prepare to go deep into the world of micro house, minimal and techno with @Ciubuc‘s set being a journey that has many twists and turns. You will hear some strong bass lines, a few lovely chords, hi-hats and the recurring idiosyncratic sounds that will immediately create a feeling of a dark room in an underground club in Bucharest."

feeder sound 115 mixed by @act-natural-music [Soblazn Music]

Act.Natural’s main aim is to create and deliver music in their own unique way and to do it how they want to do it, without having to succumb to the latest trends or the norm.

A calm atmosphere and the voice of an old man who talks while other people are laughing is not usually what you expect from a techno set, but after the first two minutes, the serious bass kicks in and the goofing around is surely over. With tracks from S.A.M. or Cristopher Ledger, the guys from Leeds brought with them the perfect rolling grooves to get you in the mood for some Friday night fever. Hit play and enjoy.

feeder sound 114 mixed by https://soundcloud.com/iuly-b [Visionquest]

While it can serve just fine as a warm-up set for the weekend parties ahead, this mix has a good energy in it and it will almost certainly get you up to your feet. A spacey atmosphere sustained by some strong kicks, dynamic basslines and an overall dubby feeling make this a carefully constructed journey. Hit play and make your Friday evening better.
