For my birthday this year, I'm fundraising for Feed Bali and I'm honored to get to speak with the co-founder Frances to learn about the story behind their beautiful mission in feeding thousands of families hit hardest by the economic crisis in Bali. Frances is also Bali's first foreign priestess and she shares the fascinating, inexorable signs from the universe to take on this holy path. We discussed listening to your own voice against the social norms, the key to real happiness, and surrendering to the divine plan.

Frances Tse is a Canadian entrepreneur reborn as a Balinese Priestess. Having worked in Hong Kong, San Fransico, Tokyo, and Toronto as a media sales executive, she decided to leave the material world when she met her now Balinese husband in Bali 21 years ago and took her first fateful step to become the first foreign temple priestess outside of Bali. Together with her husband, they own a travel & wedding company and a cooking school. When Covid hit they pivoted their business to create Feed Bali which has fed 4,555 families - 547,456 meals. This year, she is publishing her first book in the series: Trestna, Gate of Love, Memories of a Balinese Priestess.
