What if something as simple as planting a seed could change a life?
In Episode 4 of Feeding the (R)evolution), Jessica connects with farmer, food advocate, and all-around incredible human Mannah Gbeh.
Born in Liberia, Mannah grew up surrounded by agriculture before civil war forced his family to flee. After experiencing hunger firsthand and witnessing the extraordinary power of seeds in a refugee camp in Ghana, his relationship with growing food became something much deeper.
Years later, after eight years serving in the U.S. Navy, Mannah found his way back to the dirt. Today, he's a passionate advocate for small farmers, community gardens, seed sovereignty, and making fresh, healthy food accessible to everyone.
Jessica and Mannah dig into food justice, the challenges facing small farms, the healing power of working the land, and why reconnecting our communities with food might just change everything.
It's a conversation about resilience, purpose, and the beautiful, radical simplicity of growing something.
Because sometimes a revolution starts with just one seed.
What if some of the most powerful medicine isn’t in the medicine cabinet, but on your plate?
In Episode 3 of Feeding the (R)evolution, Jessica sits down with Dr. Joseph Matista and Dr. Diane Coxey, two family medicine physicians who discovered the power of whole food, plant-based eating late in their medical careers and couldn’t stop sharing what they learned.
They talk about the changes they’ve witnessed in their own lives and in hundreds of patients, from blood sugar and blood pressure to sleep, energy, pain and our relationship with food. But this isn’t about perfection or changing everything overnight. It’s about starting somewhere.
One more fruit. One more vegetable. One better meal.
Because, as Dr. Coxey puts it, “Every meal is a chance to heal.”
What if the future of food looks more like the past?
In this episode of Feeding the (R)evolution, Jessica Waite sits down with Jonathan Zaidman, Vice President of Community at The Ecology Center, to explore regenerative agriculture, healthy food systems, and the power of community. Jonathan shares his journey into environmental advocacy and explains how regenerative farming can restore our connection to the land, our food, and one another.
If you're interested in regenerative agriculture, sustainable farming, local food, organic farming, or building healthier communities, this conversation is full of inspiration and practical hope for the future.

In episode 2 of Waite a Minute, Jessica and Davin take a minute to talk about The Plot. The risks, the mistakes, the wins, the growing pains, and the moments they weren't sure they'd make it through. From scaling up to scaling back and rebuilding stronger, this episode is a quick, honest look at what resilience actually looks like when you're trying to create something that matters.
Before the podcast, before the restaurants, before anyone had a plan, there were two sisters, a lot of chaos, and a deeply questionable life lesson involving “fine wine and gourmet cheese.”
In the first episode of Feeding the Revolution, Mal flips the mic on Jessica Waite (founder and the voice of this whole thing) to get into where it all actually started.
They talk about growing up a little wild, learning things the hard way, the failures, the grit, and the moments that lit the fire. 🔥
Because this podcast isn’t about playing it safe.
It’s about the people breaking systems, rebuilding them better, and refusing to accept “this is just how it is”—especially when it comes to food.
Welcome to Feeding the Revolution.
Full length, episode 1.
