Social Media can be a great tool to connect with loved ones from afar. But it can also affect our mental health and make us spiral into a comparison game where we put more pressure on ourselves to live a certain lifestyle. If you are feeling behind in life, I share my story of when I had a midlife crisis and I suddenly had a eureka moment, that changed the game for me and gave me so much peace. It helped me stop comparing my life story to others and focus on mine. If you feel like you are falling behind in life, tune in!
In this episode, I talk about:
-The moment I had my midlife crisis and started comparing myself to acquaintances on social media
-The mindset flip after I read Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsh
-Mindset switches and examples that helped me make me feel like I am not behind in life
CAVA Pita inspired recipe:
cherry tomatoes
cucumber
red onion
bell pepper
chickpeas
kalamata olives
salt
pepper
olive oil
lemon
Pita bread or Naan Bread
Garlic Spread, Hummus, or Harrissa Spread (From TJs)
Directions:
Mince all the veggies and mix together
Season with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and olive oil
Heat up your Bread of choice, and spread your favorite spread on it and top with the Mediterranean salad on top
Eat like a wrap!
Enjoy!

Important note: Not everything online is a blanket statement. I am not a medical, mental health, or psychology professional. I am just your 30-something-year-old friend on the internet sharing my life story & lessons while cooking some comforting food with you to feel a sense of belonging as we navigate all things adulting.
