Welcome to Season 3, Episode 18, Part 2, with my girlfriend Marie Zelenka as she interviews me on the subject of “Fear and my Cancer Journey!”
When Marie proposed interviewing me for my podcast I thought it was a great idea as it was an opportunity to ask me any question she thought people would want to know regarding my journey through cancer and discuss my feelings, fears and perspective after going through a hysterectomy to remove ovarian cancer and chemo treatments all now behind me!
With our 9 hour time difference (as Marie lives in the Netherlands) our “campfire chat was us non-stop talking, laughing, probing, our conversation lasting over 3 &1/2 hours, this being Part 2 of our entire conversation.
Marie and I professionally met in 2002 in Hollywood on a project w e both worked on for 4 seasons and though now a sea and miles apart we remain life long friends and why I agreed to be interviewed and have an honest, passionate conversation and share how these experiences through the journey of cancer has shifted our perspectives.

Welcome to Season 3, Episode 17, Part 1 with my friend/interviewer, Marie Zelenka and “Ask Me Anything Pertaining my Cancer Journey!”
When my girlfriend Marie Zelenka proposed the idea to interview me regarding my recent cancer journey for my podcast, I thought it was a great idea and with our 9 hour time difference (as Marie lives in the Netherlands) we had a stream of consciousness chat where Marie asked me any question on her mind that she was curious to hear my answers, our conversation lasting over 3 & 1/2 hours and split into a 2 Part interview drop over the next 2 weeks, it was an opportunity for Marie to “turn the table” on me regarding my experience being diagnosed with Early Stage 3 Ovarian cancer and my feelings, fears and perspective thus far post my journey with surgery and chemo treatments behind me!
As Marie and I have known one another since 2002 professionally in Hollywood, we have remained extremely close life long friends and why I agreed to sit down with Marie to create an authentic, honest, passionate conversation between 2 girlfriends who really love and want the best for one another and our two experiences through the journey of going through the cancer journey and perspectives gained!

Social media has presented the opportunity to create many new and “old” connections over these past few years that began with the pandemic and a desire to expand my connections, business opportunities and do it all messy while figuring it out!
Through my expansion of both business’ and my connections, I’ve met many people I didn’t know three years ago and have created deep connections, business ventures, working relationships and together with so many individuals have built communities around the world all thanks to social media.
Sajata Robinson who is a Professional Makeup Artist in the News whose clients have been Barbara Walters and Jane Pauley to name a few and I met thanks to social media and through our conversation during this podcast we discovered so many things we had in common…someone whose path I may never have crossed if it weren’t for technology.
I know many people whose lives do not depend on technology and many people who refuse to engage or expand their mind, my gentle suggestion is “just do it” as it’s not going away and you want to stay engaged in ways that serve your growth and you may love the connections you make along the way.
