I recorded this episode and sent it for editing prior to the Uvalde School Shooting and right after the Buffalo Domestic Terrorist Shooting...I am back to "head-on-swivel" and not wanting to go outside. Some of that is cured by my Black and Deck Bug Zapper, but even being strapped I still am weary to trust any of ya'll.

In this episode I wax poetic about being home in VA and back in TN and feeling safe, that lasted 5 minutes, because Jose and they went crazy at the elementary school in TX...my reaction to the talking heads Abbot, Cruz, Rubio check out previous episodes 58 and 59.

I have watched lots of trash TV because I can't stand this news cycle...And of course, I talk books because after all this is TNFro Is Reading...

My comments on pop culture seem lame now...but let me know what you think...

Always remember to be kind...

I used to scoff at people making this statement. Maybe because of its simplicity or maybe because it sounded more like an admonishment that I was being everything but kind. But then when I started investigating it for myself that’s when I realized, that I was confusing politeness with kindness. Politeness is a fake superficial manner in which required no investment no self-reflection. But being kind is an adjective, it is an action. If you are kind to yourself first it’s like exercise memory you will continue and will be kind to others. Let that sit with you for a while. I am being kind to myself. I’ll be kind to others. Very simple. Repeat.

Lean into the spirit of the New Year by counting your blessings, giving to others, and spreading happiness! I know I will!

It is the beginning of a New Year so be kind to your mind and others. Give love to receive love.

19 Little Kids Lost Their Lives During Recess,

How Long Will We Mourn or will Congress and The Senate Do Something?

Something has to be done and no Cruz, but more armed resource officers in the schools IS NOT THE ANSWER!

I am so glad in spite of recent events there still is good Black News!!

I talk and fuss about the trash TV I am watching and comment on other interests on popular culture in my Quark's Bar Segment...

Guess who is back? Back again...TNFro's Back tell a friend....

Shout out to @wordpresssupport, I am back in the saddle, thanks so much!!

This episode was produced on March 27th, my references are dated in terms of the shenanigans that have transpired over the past few weeks, from the slap-happy #WillSmith to white Americans cashing in and overreacting for their own selfish gains to the Swedish mishandling of the COVID epidemic to the genocide in Ukraine by Russian troops to the ultimate in a win for Black Excellence with the confirmation of Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, Republicans your hoods are showing...

I have been out of commission due to the untimely death of my father, Clifton Robert Baxter. Rest In Power

I have not been inspired to post or create in the past few weeks due to the death of my father, Clifton Robert Baxter, a complicated man and my relationship has been complicated with him as well. As I unpack my feelings and reaction to the death in an effort to help someone else dealing with pain, grief, and regret.

It’s still Women’s History month in this episode I will be celebrating the lives of Dr. Corbett of vaccine fame as well as Judge Brown-Jackson, The first African-American woman nominated and will probably become the first black female justice on the Supreme Court. These African-American women who have excelled are still questioned because of their amazing intellect the higher they climb the more people will question because they can’t believe it because of their own limitations. Another product of white supremacy is people like the mediocre Chump family and the Tucker Carlson’s of the world. These wagers in mediocrity only want an even playing field if they are given the advantage and it makes me sick.

The COVIK-panorama still wages on the numbers are down but China is having its own omicron surge Western Europe is now seeing another surge and there is a new variant called the Delta -Cron which seems to be some weird Delta-Omicron Franken-Rona mash up.

I also talk about what I’m watching when I’m reading and what I’m writing and also going on about tomfoolery in the world.
