Acts Chapter 4

 

The Book of Acts is an epic story. It tells of how the church began, how it grew and how God was active in every part of it. As amazing as all the accounts are and as incredible as the response to the gospel was, it has a simpler, more applicable message for us. In many ways it is a story of what can happen when followers of Jesus choose to live their lives fully for the sake of the gospel. No matter what the cost, they were willing to give up anything, even their lives, so that people at the ends of the earth would hear that Messiah had come and salvation was here.
