Colossians 2:1-5 Why did Paul suffer? What is it that allowed him to endure the struggle and suffering that he had to go through? Paul knew that the teaching of God’s word was worth anything that he would go through. He embraced this for the good of the elect, the body of Christ.

Colossians 1:24-29 Paul tells of how he rejoices in his sufferings which are for the sake of the church in filling up that which lacks in the afflictions of Christ. What does this mean? Are Christ’s works for our salvation lacking?

Colossians 1:21-2 How are believers saved? What is the condition we are saved from? What does salvation result is? All these questions are answered as Paul addresses the believers in Colossae in this section of this letter.

Colossians 1:18-20. Jesus is not only Lord of all that has been made, His is also the Lord who is to reconcile all things to Himself through His blood of the cross. What does this mean? What does it look like?

Colossians 1:15-17

Col. 1:12-14 One of the most beautiful passages in scripture detailing how it is we are saved.

Col. 1:9-11 Paul continues in his prayer for the Colossian believers this time asking God to continue the work which He has already begun in these who have responded to the gospel in faith and love for the saints.

Col. 1:3-8 God is the author of our faith, He causes His people to be born again to a living hope, and it is the message of the gospel, holding out the promise of hope that is the cause of our faith. Salvation from start to finish is of the Lord!
