We must think of the Lord’s supper with the gravity that Jesus did.

God providentially protected His servant Paul so he could move closer to Rome. We can trust God to protect us until our service for Him is over.

While God’s people serve Him, Satan opposes them.

Paul was confident he had done nothing wrong before God, even though the court was not disposed to find the same.

Given the destruction of Jerusalem and the second coming of Christ, God’s people must maintain holy vigilance.
