How do you make progress spiritually? You stop.

The book of the prophet Isaiah did this in its time as well as today.

The fundamental principles of the universe are simple and binary: Yes or No, Worship or Rebel.
Isaiah ends with a return to the basics: Everyone is Welcome! And, everyone chooses.

Everyone’s welcome, but everyone chooses.

“Therefore” (v12) Jesus gets what He deserves. Jesus gets the spoils.
And we get spoiled.
