Some feel like God is so far away, a distant deity. But the Gospel message demonstrates that our God is not distant, changing lives in an instant! Salvation is HERE!

Disciples of Jesus still have disagreements with each other. Sometimes they even struggle to find the Lord’s direction for their lives. Despite these desperate moments, how can believers know God is at work among them? Today we find out.

Acts 15 is the HEART of the writing we call Acts. Today we discover how “two flocks” become one in a new covenant under the Good Shepherd (Jn. 10:16).

Independence Day is characterized by celebration, enjoying the fruits of freedom, often without contemplation - considering the cost of freedom. So too, we will be reminded that completing the spiritual mission can be costly, because freedom’s never free.

Last week we were challenged to be concerned about souls, as we pray for others, prepare to share, plan to meet, while being persuasive & patient. Today we learn another great lesson that will free us up to GO take the Gospel to the Planet in the power of the Spirit!

Most of us have influence in someone’s life. Whether it’s a child, a teenager, or another adult - like it or not - we ARE leaving a legacy that outlives us. Today we answer one question that clarifies whether our influence will make an eternal impact or not.

Far from negotiating with God over the terms of the deal, 1st Century Christians were convinced that Jesus was worthy of their worship, EVEN IF…it cost them in this life. We discover the difference between those who live like Jesus is worthy of their lives, and those who don’t.

Good mothers prepare us for life - birthing us, feeding us, loving us, training us, encouraging us, correcting us, and sending us out to parent their grandchildren. On this Mother’s Day it’s appropriate that we consider the similar role that Developing Disciples plays in the furthering of the Gospel.

What kind of hoops do I need to jump through to be made CLEAN - to really be forgiven and part of God’s family? "In a unique inclusion in Acts 9:32-44, Peter is reintroduced into the story. This Peter is very much different than the one that we had grown accustomed to in the Gospels. It seems that God has been "building this believer" into what He desires. Peter shows repeatedly in this passage, that although he works miracles, it is not by his power, but rather by the Power of the resurrected Jesus. He truly shows the reader that it's about, "He and not Me."
