When is it okay to write people off? When can we give up on them?

After some disciples abandon Jesus, he turns to the 12 and asks them, "Do you want to leave me to?"

What are you ravenous for?

Consume Him.

In this story, Jesus asks a very valid question for all of us, "Do you want to get well?"

When we get distracted by the pain we experience in this life we forget that it has a purpose.

Acknowledging Jesus as our Savior is different than making Him our Lord.

This sermon serves to open up our eyes to God's vision for the Church; loving the world.

John's attention to detail paints a very vivid picture of Jesus and a story we are very familiar with.

The book of John is a fine reminder that, while God volunteers to function inside of the restrictive realm of time and space, when we experience Jesus we move from those to constraints and into the presence of He who is the Beginning and the End.
