Fem Belling spoke with David Moyle about her fabulous idea to raise funds to support Wildlife Victoria in their quest to care for animals injured in the Victorian Bushfires which are continuing to impact Victoria.

Fem put the call out to her fellow Jazz Musicians and the result is Burn Benefit at the Transport Rooftop Bar at Fed Square on Monday night, January 20, 2020 from 7pm.   Transport Rooftop Bar is donating the venue and all Bar profits on the night.

An impressive line-up of local, and not so local, jazz musicians responded to her call and over 60 muso’s have donated their time, talent and inspiration to help Wildlife Victoria.

Musicians include Nat Bartch, Joe Chindamo, the Commoners, the Jack Earle Trio, Nichaud Fitzgibbon, Paul Grabowsky, the Kimba Griffith Septet,  John McAll, the Daryl McKenzie Jazz Orchestra, Melbourne Amplified Strings, Mon & Jelly Roll, Moving Targets, Oscar Neyland, the Kathleen O’ Halloran Trio, Rico Alma, the Rookies, Rita Satch, the Shuffle Club, the Werewolves, Wilbur Wilde, Chelsea Wilson, Zedsix and a visiting artist from New York – Tim Ries, saxophonist for the Rolling Stones
