In 2018, 𝐒𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 launched her Virtual Assistant business - in 𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍 𝟑 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐒 she was able to quit her full time job, and in less than 1 year she had already surpassed her previous income. Early in her career, Beverly became bored of traditional corporate attire and hated feeling pressured to just blend in at her male-dominated workplace. Her life changed when she hired a stylist and realized there were many ways to be bold and playful, while still appearing professional. She was thrilled with how her new wardrobe looked,  and more importantly how it made her FEEL; and she became devoted to sharing this experience with others. After college, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐫 quickly rose through the ranks of the grocery industry, becoming the youngest procurement manager in her company in only a matter of years. In that role, she met Jessica Dumont Nadeau, who soon became a beloved friend (and later on, her business partner). The duo recognized the lack of female representation in their industry and decided to develop a beverage product created by and specifically FOR women. Together they came up with the idea for Gldn Hour (@drinkgldnhour), a delicious collagen infused sparkling water with tremendous health benefits.

𝐙𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐣𝐢 is a 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑-𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫, and currently the CEO of the Alliance Trust Company. Zinat’s entrepreneurial journey began at the age of 8 when she and her siblings began delivering invoices and collecting payments for her parent’s fabric business, in their small hometown of Mbeya, Tanzania. Zinat loved being part of the business, and knew one day she wanted to own her own company. As a young adult, she relocated to Canada and began working in the financial services industry. In only a few years, Zinat made history becoming the 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐚 to start a Corporate Trust Company.

𝐈𝐧𝐞𝐳 𝐑𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 was the Beverage Director for Windows on the World (a restaurant in the World Trade Center) at the time of 9/11. She and (her now husband), Stephen, both survived the horrific tragedy, but lost their jobs and were forced to reassess their careers. Against their families’ advice, they decided to open up their own restaurant in Inez’s hometown, and in 2022, they marked 20 years of successful restauranteering with Tarboro Brewing Company  (@tarborobrewingcompany).

𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐏𝐭𝐚𝐤 entered the marketing world representing major brands like Pepsi and ConAgra Foods. She soon learned she sought more than just an A-list of clients; she wanted to work in an environment in which she felt valued as a whole person, and she wasn’t finding that in Corporate Canada. She started pursuing projects on the side and created the foundations for her own marketing agency; and in 2017, she leapt off the cliff and went full time with Ptak and Co (@ptakandco), helping her clients successfully navigate the digital marketing landscape.
