We have a disregard for women's lives in this country. Too many women are violently abused and brutally murdered and nothing gets done. Women are living in fear of men. And we are still trivializing these issues!

Are we ready for a serious conversation about the worth of human life? Are we ready to admit that it is not because of "what she was wearing, where she was, why she was at the club, she is a slay queen, she was outside at night"? Are we ready to admit that there is no justification for these ruthless killings? Are we ready to admit that we have a gender-based violence problem in Kenya?
