This 9th and final show in the Twilight Epiphanies Honor Roll pays tribute to Carol Simler and DuPage Pads; an organization that has the solution to end homelessness. DPP's is the largest provider of interim and permanent housing, coupled with support services in order to help individuals work toward becoming self-sufficient. These vital support services enable the individuals to receive case management and life coaching, employment support such as job coaching, as well as engagement with employers—effectively stopping the cycle of homelessness.

Carol joins me to talk about the system that DuPage Pads envisioned to end homelessness, which has become a national prototype..  DuPage Pads has been honored with multiple grants, awards and supporters to see it's organization successfully continue a growth of added services and partnerships, from the local community level to nationwide collaborations.  In 2018, DPP's successfully served 1,000 individuals of which 330 obtained stable housing. 37,744 nights of shelter and 120,000 meals were provided.  

DPP's works with a large group of trained volunteers of which tonight we will have a special volunteer; Carol's Grandson Aidan join us, who received a 2018 Youth Service Award from the City and Mayor of Naperville along with KidsMatter for his 700 plus hours of volunteering! 

Carol will share with us, what opportunities are available if someone finds themselves in the unfortunate position of homelessness, as well as the volunteer opportunities that are offered, how you can become a partner, attend/organize a fundraiser, or provide donations.

Lars Fletcher owner of LarsVision joins me to talk about his company, his work experiences, and the influences in his life that have brought him to his current visions in the area of graphic design and production.  As an illustrator, Lars studied graphic design and illustration at Los Angeles City College and California State University, Long Beach.  Originally from Buffalo New York, he now resides in Los Angeles, California.  

Lars has a rich work history as a Design Consultant where he worked for Major Corporations including Disney Imagineering, Artisan Creative, HEAROS, Float, ZeusVision, and many more.  His illustration services include: Graphic Novels, Comic Books, Education, Children's Books, Game Art, Prototyping, Virtual-Reality, Broadcast, Cinema, Production Storyboards and Key Art.  He will talk to us about his use of M3d Concept Art and share with us his exercises for opening up to our greater creativity when we work towards opening up specific chakras.  

I have chosen Lars for his level of sincere integrity in his work as he conducts his business within the concept of the handshake.  He strongly promotes the commitment to an agreement in order to cultivate trusting relationships.  He brings to the table the honor of the knight, dedicated to a theme of honesty and trust of which is sorely needed to be returned to our business endeavors.  Kudos to you Lars for making this a mission statement for your company.

Today we're broadcasting an interview with Damian Nola. We're discussing the process of Awakening and Ascension.

Damian Bio:

Born and raised in London, a keen interest in the esoteric, complimentary therapies, and energetic forms of healing has accompanied Aminya for as long as he can recall. Leading him in his early and late teenage years to study various healing modalities as a system of support to further his own process of inner growth and gently guide others through the challenges on their path. Over many years of offering this kind of assistance to both individuals and groups all over the world, a profound focus of relationship with the Divine, particularly within the form of Divine Mother, then began to grow and in his early thirties re-activated a remembrance of his past life connections with the feminine lineage of Womb Mysteries from which the work he now offers is sourced.

The core of this work currently takes the form of awakening the three-fold qualities of the Heart - known by many different names within varying spiritual traditions but most commonly referred to as love, light and power. Light being a clear-seeing of reality as it truly is, the development of wisdom, inspiration, and alignment with truth, love being the expression of the open, un-defended and authentic heart, true intimacy and connection, and power being a focus of surrender into the flow of life. The awakening of these three essential qualities of Heart, providing an opening into recognition of how it is we can truly meet all facets of life from the truth of what we are, and in that way bring healing or resolution to what may be imbalanced, come into harmony and the natural non-conditioned expression of our essence.

As a self-taught artist, Edward turned his passion into his career at age 20.  His unique art work; Art of the Sublime, is drawn from his desire to foster his relationship with Nature.  He quotes Alan Watts to describe the bonded symbiosis he moves into during his pilgrimages in Nature - "We are born out of nature, like leaves from a tree."

He nurtures his ever growing talents through his  Druid Training in Angelsey, Shamanic Drumming and the ethereal voyaging of hemi-sync sound technology. 

Edward's work has been exhibited throughout the UK including London and Dublin, Ireland.  His artwork is internationally sold to collectors around the world from the USA, to New Zealand, France, Canada, Italy, Norway and Switzerland. His work has been displayed in multiply magazines and he has been interviewed on both BBC Television and Radio.  

He joins me here to share his journey in becoming a multi-natured artist, poet, musician, and songwriter.  He will be taking us through the exciting influences that inspired his diverse art creations he terms: Sublime Art, Visionary Nature Series, Drawings and Illustrations, Future Visions, Tolkien and Fantasy, Northern Folk, Hummingbird Gallery and more! 

He is currently writing and illustrating a book called Visions of Albion due to be published in Nov of 2019 and as a musician and songwriter he released his first debut album Raven, a collection of compositions for classical guitar in March of 2017 and two additional albums since, one with his partner Filomena, called "Water and Earth."
