My husband is in the hot seat in this season-opening episode.  As we observe international Women's Day, we talk openly about how we experienced our genders growing up in a highly sexist, cultural and religious environments in Ethiopia. We share what factors helped shape how we came to view femininity and masculinity after living as first generation immigrants in different parts of the world.  How discovering our hidden natures for ourselves, finding a spiritual connection with each other from a new place of defining our identities and raising second generation girls and boys in western cultures all challenge us and reward us all at the same time.
