Professor Jacqueline Rose, Professor of Humanities, The Institute of Humanities, Birkbeck College, University of London, was the Diane Middlebrook and Carl Djerassi Visiting Professor for Michaelmas 2014 at the University of Cambridge Centre for Gender Studies. Professor Rose conducted research on and gave the Professorship Lecture on the subject of 'Feminism and the Abomination of Violence'.
