On a cold winter’s morning in 2000 I had a ‘light bulb’ moment that changed the rest of my life. Until that day, I hadn’t thought of the possibility of living in a powerful, and conscious way. I hadn’t considered that I have a choice about my thoughts and beliefs, and how they affected my life. I realised that I wasn’t in tune with what was really going on inside my head, and how it was affecting my life.

I realised that I had been operating in auto-pilot, and had not considered if this was the right course for me.

Have you ever had a similar experience? It’s like living a life someone else mapped out and thinking this is normal. I was at my first personal empowerment retreat and it totally rocked my world.

Hey there, and welcome to episode 1 of the Fempower Collective podcast. Yay!

I'm Illira Lovelight, founder of Fempower Collective, and host of the Fempower Collective Podcast - the ‘go-to’ for heart-centred, visionary women, creating purposeful, and financially wealthy businesses.

I wanted to start off the podcast series by sharing my vision for Fempower Collective with you, and a little about myself as we go along.

I guess it all started when I went to my first personal empowerment retreat in 2000, realising that I had no idea what that actually meant. Growing up as most women do, I followed the social norms and never really thought about whether I was empowered, and what that actually meant.

Looking back on my own journey I realised that ….

I love to see the transformation in women, when the light shines in their eyes because they have connected with their inner wisdom.

I love to inspire women to go beyond their current circumstances and reach higher than they have ever before towards their dreams.

I love to facilitate women’s transformation so they can learn the tools, techniques, practices, and rituals to build a rock solid foundation of their own self-empowerment.

And so, in 2020 Fempower Collective was born. My vision is to create an inclusive community of heart-centred, passionate, purposeful women from around the world who are ready to be change-makers, visionaries, and empowered leaders.

I welcome and invite you to be part of our global community.
