"Faith Inspired Activism" is the topic for S1.E2 of the live stream series "FEMYSOnow".
This session wants to create a space where successful muslim activists are able to provide insights into their journeys through activism as a person of faith. The webinar will focus on highlighting key lessons young people interested in this area of work can learn from, whilst discussing the many challenges faced by those in positions of leadership. The session delves into the notion that these leaders aren't necessarily responsible in supporting just Muslims, but wider groups within society and what this challenge means will make up a large part of the discussion.
Our guest speakers for this session are:
Abrar Omeish (USA) - Former Virginia Co-Chair of the Bernie Sanders Presidential Campaign and Member At
Oumaima El Ghoulbzouri (NL) - Secretary, Dutch Student Union
Zamzam Ibrahim (UK) - President of the National Union of Students
