Jane has learned that change is the only constant on her farm and it is essential to keeping a farm viable through the generations. From dairy to finished beef, from wheat to corn, soybeans, hay and and now compost the farm adapts to meet the needs of the next generation market. She notes public relations are critical and is active with her role of county commissioner and several local boards.
"Boots" Tuckwiller discusses her experiences diversifying her Angus farm into the world of hemp production. Boots stepped out of the box to adapt to new and changing environments to be sure the next generation inherits a strong agricultural foundation. She and her family have worked together with neighbors to build a community around this new venture to overcome the needs associated with expanding into the new industry of CBD oils.
