Welcome to our new format. It’s very simple:
Having coerced a fascinating human to be our guest, we ask them for a proverb or saying they choose to live by. Then, Lynn bullies them into telling an impromptu story, Neil skulks around periodically spouting ‘interesting facts’ and Chesney woos them with his version of their favorite song.
This week’s guest is New Zealand-born, Latin American dancer, and “Strictly” judge, Brendan Cole, with his quote “Dedication is what you need.”
Sharing his stories about Strictly, Dancing On Ice, the attraction of power tools, and fist fighting on driveways, Brendan shows that some of the manliest men like to wear sequins.

Have you ever heard that saying, “In order to know where you are, you have to work out where you’ve been”? You might not have, because I’ve just made it up. #yourewelcome
Point is, it is absolutely on the money for this first episode of FHH.
Here in episode one, Lynn, Neil, and Chesney tie a bow around the end of pandemic podcast series WAABM by bringing you the best bits, and tantalizingly (I do like that word) offering you a robust taste of what is yet to come.
So grab that beverage of choice, lend us your ears, and join us on our virtual sofa.
Welcome to FHH, we are so glad you’re here.

A wee taster of what’s coming very soon!
Join Lynn (Scottish and mouthy) Neil (quiet and brooding) and the one and only Chesney Hawkes (frankly adorable) for chat, music, temporary epiphanies, and possibly some swearing.
Each episode a different guest joins the unlikely trio to reveal their perspective on life. They reveal a quote that they live their life by. In return Chesney performs his version of their favourite song. Past guests include Heston Blumenthal discussing the concept of time, Alfred Molina and the cruelty of Alzheimer’s, Leslie Ash and the great lip scandal and Zoe Lyons on why it's vital to have an even number of chickens.
