Hello Hive friends and Hive Open Mic family, first of all, I wish you a happy 2026. I sincerely hope that everyone's dreams come true and that you fight with love for what you yearn for with all your heart. This year brings new challenges and adventures, so I encourage you to have patience, commitment, dedication, and above all, focus on that goal you need to achieve to feel fulfilled.

I took a few days off for several reasons; last year was hectic for me, and this year looks to be the same, but I was able to recharge a lot of energy for what's to come. My Christmas was amazing because, besides being with my family as always, I enjoyed our first Christmas together with my girlfriend, and that made everything even more special. Those who have followed my story with her know that last year we got together after a little over two years of a long-distance relationship. That was undoubtedly my greatest personal achievement of last year, and I always thank God for it.

Before her, I saw myself as single for the rest of my life. My past relationships gave me no hope of finding a beautiful, sincere, and true love. But at the same time, that past taught me to better redefine the concept of the word "love," and that's precisely where the positive aspect of what I experienced lies.

She came along to change everything and shatter my mental paradigms. She managed to pull me out of my solitary life, away from the lonely world I had immersed myself in many years ago. She did it with great respect and empathy, for which I am immensely grateful because she understood me in a healthy way. Today, almost 10 months together, I celebrate every moment with her because, as the song I'm sharing with you today says in its chorus: "We all need someone," and that is an absolute and irrefutable truth.

"Somebody" is one of the songs from Canadian artist Justin Bieber's sixth studio album, Justice. An album full of emotion, great rhythm, and varied musical styles, which I recommend to those who love pop or alternative music.

I chose this song to dedicate to my girlfriend @ljfenix because it describes my gratitude to God for His presence in my life 🙏❤️. I love you with all my heart, my beautiful darling. Hola amigos de Hive y familia del Hive Open Mic, primero que todo les deseo un feliz año 2026, espero de todo corazón que los sueños de cada uno se cumplan y que luchen desde el amor por aquello que anhelan con el alma. Este año trae nuevos retos y aventuras así que les motivo a tener paciencia, compromiso, dedicación y sobre todo enfoque en ese objetivo que necesitan alcanzar para estar en plenitud.

Me tomé unos cuantos días de descanso por varios motivos; el año pasado fue frenético para mi, este año pinta igual pero pude recargar mucha energía para lo que viene. Mi navidad fue muy genial porque aparte de estar en familia como siempre, disfruté con mi novia de nuestra primera navidad juntos y eso hizo todo más especial aún. Quien ha seguido mi historia con ella sabe que el año pasado nos juntamos luego de un poco más de 2 años teniendo una relación a distancia, ese sin duda, fue mi mayor logro a nivel personal del año pasado y doy gracias a Dios siempre por ello.

Antes de ella me veía ya como soltero hasta el final de mis días, mis relaciones pasadas no me dieron esperanzas de encontrar un amor bonito, sincero y verdadero, pero a su vez, ese pasado me enseñó a redefinir mejor el concepto de la palabra amor y es justo ahí donde radica la parte positiva de lo que viví.

Ella llegó para cambiarlo todo y romper mis paradigmas mentales, ella logró sacarme de mi vida ermitaña, alejándome del mundo solitario en el que me sumergí hace muchos años; lo hizo con mucho respeto y empatía a lo que agradezco enormemente porque supo entenderme sanamente en todo. Hoy a casi 10 meses juntos, celebro cada momento con ella, porque como dice la canción que les traigo hoy en su coro: "Todos necesitamos a alguien", y eso es una verdad absoluta e irrefutable.

Somebody (Alguien), es una de las canciones del 6to álbum de estudio del artista canadiense Justin Bieber llamado Justice (Justicia). Un disco lleno de emociones, buen ritmo y estilos musicales variados, el cual recomiendo para quienes aman el pop o la música alternativa.

Esta canción la elegí para dedicársela en esta temática a mi novia @ljfenix porque describe mi gratitud hacia Dios por su presencia en mi vida 🙏❤️. Talking about the future is talking about things that haven't happened yet, but that we can deduce or predict through trends. However, things always happen along the way that can alter that data, making everything uncertain. With such a panorama, it seems as if we are living in the end times prophesied even by the Bible; The million-dollar question is: How can we survive in such a corrupt and unequal world? There will never be a precise answer that will tell us how to get out of a crisis of this magnitude, but what we can do is heal wounds, nourish our souls, improve our daily routines, remember our loved ones, celebrate every achievement, no matter how small, and remember that wealth is not centered on material things but on our relationship with God, our families, our friends, and society itself.

In the face of so much injustice, sometimes we can do nothing, but we can take advantage of the tools we have today to denounce those things that violate the law. We must avoid irresponsibility, carelessness, and conflict as much as possible. There is no point in living if we are not attentive to everything we must pay attention to with a clinical eye. Hablar del futuro, es hablar de aquello que no ha sucedido pero que por medio de tendencias, podemos deducir o predecir, sin embargo, en el camino siempre ocurren cosas que pueden alterar esos datos haciendo que todo se vuelva incierto. Teniendo en cuenta el presente, el futuro de la humanidad no parece alentador; la tecnología se apodera de nuestras mentes y de nuestros trabajos, el ser humano se aleja cada vez más de Dios, las diferencias son sinónimo de guerras y conflictos, la moral se torna progresivamente en una excusa para justificar conductas poco sanas, la política se ha convertido en un circo mediático, la impunidad reina sobre la justicia y pare de contar...

Con un panorama así, parece que estuviéramos viviendo el fin de los tiempos profetizado incluso por la biblia; la pregunta del millón es ¿Cómo podemos sobrevivir en un mundo tan corrompido y desigual?... Jamás habrá una respuesta precisa que nos indique como salir de una crisis de esta magnitud, pero lo que si podemos hacer es sanar heridas, alimentar el alma, mejorar en lo que hacemos a diario, no olvidar a los seres amados, celebrar cada logro por más mínimo que sea y recordar que la riqueza no se centra en lo material sino en nuestra relación con Dios, nuestras familias, amigos y la misma sociedad.

Ante tanta injusticia a veces no podemos hacer nada, pero sí podemos aprovechar las herramientas que hoy tenemos para denunciar aquello que va en contra de la ley. Debemos emprender con todas la información y formación que tenemos ya que el conocimiento que hemos adquirido no debe ser demostrado gratis, eso tiene su valor; hay que evitar lo más que se pueda la irresponsabilidad, el descuido y el conflicto, de nada sirve vivir si no estamos atentos a todo lo que debemos prestar atención con ojo clínico. Es un hecho, de que esta sociedad actual evolucionará, pero no será fácil lo que nos espera porque hay mucha hostilidad, resentimiento, desesperación y traumas que harán muy complejo el camino de dicha evolución.

Zombie Autopilot (Piloto Automático Zombi) es la canción que hoy les traigo y habla de ese letargo del ser humano que le impide reaccionar con actitud y carácter ante una realidad corrupta que debe ser neutralizada para que el futuro sea más prometedor. However, many millionaires suffer from shortcomings due to their status, which puts them in a difficult position in business and society. I think we'll all agree that the greatest wealth is spiritual wealth, being at peace with ourselves and our fellow human beings, as well as always being connected to God above all else 🙏❤️.

I assume that being born into wealth will always bring existential dilemmas, just like being born into financial hardship. Both extremes have different motivations but suffer in some way. The inequality in the world is brutal, and based on reality, having the money to own a home, a good job, and being able to meet the most basic needs is more than enough to have a decent life. This doesn't mean being complacent or lacking aspirations. Personally, I prefer balance and that middle ground to survive healthily.

La riqueza y el poder van de la mano; no necesariamente hablamos de riqueza monetaria, aunque bien es sabido que el dinero nos abre puertas inimaginables hablando claramente. Sin embargo, muchas personas millonarias tienen carencias por el mismo estatus que los pone en una posición compleja en los negocios y en la sociedad. Creo que todos vamos a coincidir en que la mayor riqueza es la espiritual, estando bien con nosotros mismos y con nuestros semejantes, además de conectados siempre con Dios por encima de todo 🙏❤️.

La canción que les traigo habla del vacío de los ricos y famosos y su quejadera constante por cosas que para alguien del común son absurdas, además enfatiza el abuso de poder, los comportamientos inadecuados y/o excéntricos de ellos. Asumo que nacer en cuna de ricos siempre traerá dilemas existenciales como cuando se nace con adversidades económicas, ambos extremos tienen motivaciones distintas pero de algún modo sufren. La desigualdad que hay en el mundo es brutal y basándonos en la realidad, con tener dinero para tener vivienda propia, un buen trabajo y poder suplir las necesidades más básicas es más que suficiente para tener una vida digna. Esto no significa ser conformista o no tener aspiraciones, en lo personal, prefiero el equilibrio y ese punto medio para subsistir sanamente.

Mi riqueza más grande es tener a Dios en mi camino 🙏❤️, tener a mi familia ❤️ y a mi pareja conmigo sin duda alguna 🌹💖. Hello Hive and Hive Open Mic family, I hope you're all doing well and that the week was a success for everyone. I'm just in time to rock this stage once again, since due to some obligations, I was forced to only upload my participation at this moment while you're reading this, but I'm happy to have achieved it 🙏❤️.

When I saw the theme last weekend, an old song that I've been wanting to perform for a while immediately popped into my head, but it needed an extra ingredient to make it sound better: the voice of my girlfriend @ljfenix hehe 😁, who gave the high notes to this song, which isn't in my range, but I wasn't afraid to perform it regardless of how it came out... This song, called Xana, by the Spanish power metal band Avalanch, tells the story of a man who lost his love and prays daily for his beloved's return since he still hasn't gotten over the loss. This is where I come in with the reflection: How many of us don't miss someone who is no longer physically here? Many will tell me they miss someone too. In fact, there were two deaths in my family that greatly affected me emotionally: that of my paternal grandmother (2011) and that of a maternal uncle (during the pandemic).

Not only does losing someone physically hurt, but also the breakups of friendships or relationships hurt a lot. We've all been through it, and in some way, they profoundly shape our lives, helping us directly and indirectly further shape our personalities and our way of facing life itself. It goes without saying that we should enjoy our loved ones to the fullest while they are alive and with us, because they are the ones who leave us with valuable lessons that remain embedded in our hearts and memories.

Giving thanks, blessing, valuing, respecting, communicating effectively and actively... these are some key words for maintaining a healthy relationship with those we love. In life, when we separate from someone we love, it often generates many emotions; Even when we are little, if we move away from dad or mom, anxiety can become a trigger for chaos, mainly in the psyche. Bonds and ties are never broken and when there is love, they can last a lifetime. If you need to be heard or tell someone that you love and need them, don't leave it for tomorrow because there will always be someone waiting for you to be happy too, don't doubt it 😉... Hola familia de Hive y del Hive Open Mic, espero que se encuentren muy bien y que la semana haya sido exitosa para todos. Llego justo a tiempo para rockear una vez más esta tarima, ya que por cuestiones de algunas obligaciones, me vi forzado a apenas subir mi participación en este momento que me leen, pero estoy feliz por haberlo logrado 🙏❤️.

Cuando vi la temática el fin de semana pasado, fue inmediatamente que apareció en mi mente una vieja canción que quería traer hace tiempo, pero que necesitaba un ingrediente extra para que sonara mejor, la voz de mi novia @ljfenix jeje 😁, quien le dio las notas altas a esta canción que no está en mi registro, pero que no me dio miedo hacer independientemente como saliera... Esta canción llamada Xana de la banda de power metal español Avalanch, nos habla de un hombre que perdió a su amor y reza a diario por el regreso de su amada ya que todavía no supera su pérdida. Aquí es donde entro con la reflexión de: ¿Cuántos no extrañamos a un ser que físicamente ya no está?... Muchos me dirán que también extrañan a alguien, de hecho, en mi familia hubo 2 muertes que me afectaron mucho emocionalmente, la de mi abuela paterna (2011) y la de un tío materno (durante la pandemia).

No solo perder a alguien físicamente duele, también las rupturas de amistades o de parejas duelen y mucho, todos hemos pasado por ello y de algún modo, nos marcan la existencia profundamente, ayudándonos directa e indirectamente a forjar más nuestra personalidad y nuestra forma de afrontar la vida misma. Está de más decir que debemos disfrutar al máximo a nuestros seres amados mientras están vivos y estén con nosotros, porque ellos son quienes nos dejan aprendizajes valiosos que quedan incrustados en nuestros corazones y memorias.

Agradecer, bendecir, valorar, respetar, comunicarse efectiva y activamente... son algunas palabras claves para mantener una relación sana con quienes amamos. En vida, cuando nos separamos de alguien amado, suele generar muchas emociones; incluso cuando estamos pequeños, si nos alejamos de papá o mamá, la ansiedad se puede volver un detonante de caos en lo psíquico principalmente. Los lazos y vínculos jamás se rompen y cuando hay amor, pueden durar toda la vida. Si necesitas que te escuchen o decirle a alguien que le amas y le necesitas, no lo dejes para mañana porque siempre habrá alguien esperándote para ser feliz también, no lo dudes 😉... On this occasion, with the theme "Darkness," I wanted to focus on those deep ruts we have in our lives that lead us to think there are no other paths and that hope has completely vanished. I think everyone here has had moments that have tested us, even spiritually; good and evil are two forces inherent to our human nature, with people tipping the scales to one side or the other. When darkness looms before us, it seeks to destroy us in some way and tempts us to abandon our humanity and become heartless, insensitive beings.

En esta oportunidad, cuya temática es "La Oscuridad", quise enfocarme en esos baches profundos que tenemos en nuestras vidas que nos llevan a pensar que no hay más caminos y que la esperanza se desvanece por completo. Las energías que desprendemos cuando estamos en etapas de sufrimiento mental o físico, son el alimento perfecto para este ente que busca apoderarse bruscamente de nuestras vidas para luego hacernos dudar y poner en tela de juicio nuestra existencia.

La canción que les traigo hoy, habla justamente de ese momento de cuando el demonio te habla al oído para ver si aguantas la presión de ser un mortal con propósito y así buscar doblegarte ante él y sacarte del sendero de la luz. Una vida plena y sana se basa en tener salud física, mental y espiritual, promoviendo siempre el bien y el amor propio o al prójimo, por ello, si estás pasando por un momento oscuro en tu vida, eso tiene un propósito, que si no lo ves a tiempo, puede costarte tu paz por el resto de tus días. For this topic, I want to focus on the bond we all have as human beings. Regardless of whether we share the same blood type, speak the same language, or have the same skin color, we are all children of God, and no one can change that fact. To deny creation and its nature is to deny existence. We all have the same universal rights and should be human because we reason, feel, and can be empathetic. Those who deviate from this simply live in the distortion of a corrupted world, because unfortunately, we share the same oxygen as those who promote the unnatural, the unethical, and everything that threatens our general and global well-being.

The song I'm bringing you speaks precisely of those beings whose mission is to alter the course of life in a macabre way, those beings who start wars without regard for the lives at risk, those heartless beings who thrive on chaos. The song speaks of those who "run" the world, indirectly referring to politicians, who place the most innocent among us at the forefront of their sins.

Personally, it pains me greatly when I see on the news about children being kidnapped, abused, tortured, or left traumatized by a war. We currently know that there are a couple of visible wars underway and that many children and families have been devastated by weapons. Is this fair? It never will be. There will always be legal mechanisms to establish ceasefire agreements, but when reason doesn't work, it reaches this extreme that endangers humanity. I always appeal to peace, to dialogue, to believe in God and follow his path, no child deserves to be restricted from living their childhood in a healthy way, much less from not having a family in which to grow up with values. Let us be supporters of freedom and promote love as a flag to be able to coexist with our neighbors. Hola familia de Hive y del Hive Open Mic, es un placer acompañarles en esta temática a pesar de mi tardía participación, sin embargo, aquí estoy con la mejor actitud y haciendo una de las cosas que más me gusta... Música!!!

Para esta temática quiero enfocarme en el vínculo que tenemos todos como seres humanos, que sin importar que no llevemos el mismo tipo de sangre, que no hablemos el mismo idioma, que no tengamos el mismo color de piel, todos somos hijos de Dios y ese hecho no lo cambia nadie. Negar la creación y la naturaleza de la misma, es negar la existencia, todos tenemos los mismos derechos universales y debemos ser humanos porque razonamos, sentimos y podemos ser empáticos. Aquellos que se salen de eso simplemente viven en la distorsión del mundo corrompido, porque lamentablemente, compartimos el mismo oxígeno que aquellos que promueven lo anti-natura, lo anti-ético y todo lo que atenta contra nuestro bienestar general y global.

La canción que les traigo habla justamente de esos seres que tienen como misión, alterar el curso de la vida de forma macabra, esos seres que inician guerras sin importar las vidas en riesgo, esos seres desalmados y descorazonados que les gusta el caos; la canción habla de los que "dirigen" el mundo, indirectamente se refiere a los políticos, quienes ponen al frente de sus pecados a los más inocentes.

En lo personal me da mucho dolor que cualquier niño sufra, no siento nada bueno cuando veo en las noticias sobre niños secuestrados, abusados, torturados o que quedan traumados por un conflicto bélico. Actualmente sabemos que hay un par de guerras visibles en marcha y que muchos niños y familias han sido devastadas por las armas, es esto justo? jamás lo será, siempre habrán mecanismos legales que establezcan acuerdos de cese al fuego, pero cuando la razón no funciona, se llega a este extremo que pone en peligro a la humanidad. Yo siempre apelo a la paz, al diálogo, a creer en Dios y seguir su camino, ningún niño merece ser coartado de vivir su infancia sanamente y mucho menos de no tener una familia en la cual crecer con valores. Seamos partidarios de la libertad y promovamos el amor como bandera para poder coexistir con el prójimo. Hello, Hive family and this wonderful community of memories called TBT! Today, I want to share with you a great experience I had during the “Fiestas del Plátano” (Banana Festival) held during the last week of June in the municipality of Sabaneta, in the department of Antioquia, Colombia.

These festivities last a week, and since I've lived here for seven years, I've attended every one of them. The festivities consist of celebrating traditions, cultural events, gastronomy, and the history of the municipality with free events for the whole family, which are sponsored by the mayor's office. These events have an amazing security presence, as the municipality has been classified as “the safest in Colombia,” considering that its population is currently almost 100,000 and that it is the smallest municipality in the country.

Through the following photos and video, I will show you what the comedy night was like on one of the days of the festivities. The other days were dedicated to street art, dances, concerts with great artists, and outdoor recreational activities. Without further ado, I invite you to get comfortable and join me... Hola familia de Hive y de esta grandiosa comunidad de recuerdos llamada TBT; el día de hoy vengo a compartir con ustedes una gran experiencia vivida en el marco de las llamadas "Fiestas del Plátano" celebradas en la última semana del mes de junio en el municipio de Sabaneta, en el departamento de Antioquia-Colombia.

Estas fiestas duran una semana y desde que vivo acá hace 7 años, he asistido a todas cuando se celebran. Las fiestas consisten en celebrar tradiciones, eventos culturales, gastronomía e historia del municipio con eventos gratuitos para toda la familia, los cuales son patrocinados por la alcaldía. Estos eventos cuentan con un despliegue de seguridad alucinante ya que el municipio se ha catalogado como "el más seguro de Colombia" teniendo en cuenta que su población es de casi 100 mil habitantes en la actualidad y que es el municipio más pequeño del país.

Mediante las siguientes fotos y video, les mostraré lo que fue la noche de comedia de uno de los días de las fiestas. Los demás días fueron dedicados para el arte callejero, danzas, conciertos con grandes artistas y actos recreativos al aire libre. The event was scheduled for 8 pm, but my girlfriend and I left early so we could walk around and enjoy ourselves before the show started. When we arrived at the main square, we noticed that there were already a lot of people, mainly at the food stands. Sabaneta is known for its diverse cuisine, ranging from typical Colombian dishes to Chinese, Peruvian, Italian, and Arabic food, among others. The great thing about living in this town is that it always feels like Christmas, with lots of lights in the common areas at night, which makes for a very attractive and welcoming atmosphere to enjoy with whoever we are with.

The comedy night was hosted by some very good comedians, most of whom belong to the comedy show “Sábados Felices” (Happy Saturdays) broadcast by the Caracol channel on Saturdays. Among them were: Piroberta, Triki Trake, Ovidio, and to close with a flourish, Suso “El Paspi,” who has extensive experience in comedy and his own TV show on Sundays on the same Caracol channel. Piroberta opened the show; this character is very funny, a gay man who likes to play jokes on straight men and who also tells us about his daily life through very good jokes. Then the great Triki Trake joined in, who has several characters. On this occasion, he was playing a transvestite and his mission was to make Piroberta angry. The two of them are a great duo on stage.

La cita era a las 8 pm, pero mi novia y yo nos fuimos antes para poder pasear y disfrutar antes de que iniciara el show. Cuando llegamos a la plaza principal, notamos que ya había mucha gente en los lugares de comida principalmente. Sabaneta se conoce por tener una gastronomía muy variada, desde platos típicos colombianos, hasta comida china, peruana, italiana, árabe, entre otras. Lo genial de vivir en este municipio es que siempre parece navidad, hay muchas luces en los espacios comunes de noche, lo que hace muy atractivo y acogedor el ambiente para disfrutar sanamente con quien estemos.

La noche de comedia estaba a cargo de comediantes muy buenos, la mayoría pertenecientes al programa de humor "Sábados Felices" que transmite el canal Caracol los días sábados. Entre ellos estaban: Piroberta, Triki Trake, Ovidio y para cerrar con broche de oro, Suso "El Paspi" quien tiene una amplia trayectoria en el humor y quien tiene su propio programa de Tv los domingos en el mismo canal Caracol. Piroberta dio apertura al show; este personaje es muy chistoso, se trata de un hombre gay que le gusta hacer bromas a hombres heterosexuales y que además nos relata su día a día mediante chistes muy buenos. Luego se unió el gran Triki Trake quien tiene varios personajes, en esta oportunidad hacía de travesti y su misión era hacer enfadar a Piroberta, ellos dos son una gran dupla en tarima.

After the Piroberta and Triki Trake show, my girlfriend and I took the opportunity to grab something to eat while the final show was starting, and we took some photos among the crowd. The variety of food was insane, there were grills, pizzas, soups, all kinds of dishes, but for obvious reasons, the best sellers were alcoholic beverages. It is worth noting the order and organization of the event; everything was very well taken care of, and the attendees behaved very well. There were entire families enjoying the performances, even pets, as this municipality is very pet-friendly.

About ten minutes later, the host of the event came out to announce another comedian who was going to introduce the closing comedian. The mayor also came out to say a few words, and you could see how happy he was with the success of the festivities that week. Not to brag, but every year the festivities get better and attract more people from nearby towns, which guarantees that the guest artists perform with great enthusiasm and professionalism.

Pasado el show de Piroberta y Triki Trake, mi novia y yo aprovechamos para ir a comer algo mientras iniciaba el show final, aprovechamos de tomarnos unas fotos en medio de la cantidad de personas asistentes. La variedad de comida era demencial, habían parrillas, pizzas, sopas, todo tipo de platos, sin embargo, por obvias razones, lo más vendido fueron las bebidas alcohólicas. Cabe destacar el orden y organización del evento, todo estaba muy bien cuidado y los asistentes se comportaron muy bien. Habían familias enteras disfrutando las presentaciones, incluso mascotas también ya que este municipio es muy pet friendly.

Unos diez minutos después, salió el anfitrión del evento a anunciar a otro comediante el cual iba a presentar al comediante de cierre. También salió a dar unas breves palabras el alcalde quien se le notaba su alegría por el éxito de las fiestas esa semana. No es por alardear, pero ciertamente cada año las fiestas son mejores y atraen a más personas de municipios cercanos, lo que garantiza que los artistas invitados realicen sus presentaciones con mucho entusiasmo y profesionalismo.

Between songs and verses, a drone enters the scene to capture the crowd, so we quickly approach the stage area to appear in the drone shots and see ourselves on the main screen of the stage, and that's how it was, haha. On the other hand, it was time for the finale, and the star of the night appeared, the most anticipated comedian for his charisma and jokes based on Colombian idiosyncrasies: Suso “El Paspi.”

Suso will always be one of my favorites in Colombian comedy. His character is a shoe shiner who also has dyslexia, so when he speaks, he tends to add an “S” to the words he says. This character has been on other national TV channels, so the public loves him dearly. In addition, due to his success, he founded his own arts academy to teach acting, music, dance, and visual arts, among other things, mainly to children and teenagers. On his Sunday show, he interviews important Colombian celebrities in a humorous format for all ages.

Suso's routine to close the show was the best. It was funny that my girlfriend didn't understand many of the jokes because of the way he speaks, but she still enjoyed the show. The number of people doubled because of Suso, and something that made me a little uncomfortable was that in front of us there was a family with an autistic child who was very upset. I say uncomfortable because I was suffering with the child. It's well known that many of them are overly sensitive to noise, and that day the noise was very loud, but hey, these things happen. There are some very peculiar parents who don't consider their children... Putting that aside, the night was incredible. We had a great evening, then walked around a bit more and went home. I loved laughing so much that day. We needed it because of the stress of the week. It was a therapeutic night, with the best company, super nice weather, and a really nice party atmosphere. Ya en el área de las pantallas grandes, sale Ovidio a tarima, quien además de comediante es campeón nacional de trova; él es muy bueno y su talento sigue emergiendo para convertirse en uno de los mejores. Entre cantos y versos, un dron entra en escena para captar la multitud asistente, así que rápidamente nos acercamos al área de la tarima para salir en las tomas del dron y vernos en la pantalla principal del escenario y así fue jeje, en el video pueden ver eso mejor. Por otro lado, ya era momento del cierre y aparece la estrella de la noche, el comediante más esperado por su carisma y chiste basados en la idiosincrasia colombiana, se trata de Suso "El Paspi".

Suso siempre será de mis favoritos en el humor colombiano, su personaje trata de un lustrador de zapatos que además tiene dislexia ya que cuando habla, suele colocar una "S" a las palabras que dice. Este personaje ha estado en otros canales de Tv nacional, por lo que el cariño que el público le tiene es grande, además, debido a su éxito, fundó su propia academia de artes para impartir clases de actuación, música, baile, artes plásticas, entre otros, a niños y adolescentes principalmente. En su programa los días domingo, entrevista a celebridades importantes de Colombia en un formato de humor para todas las edades.

La rutina de Suso para cerrar el show fue lo máximo, fue chistoso que mi novia no entendiera muchas bromas y chistes por la forma en como él habla, pero igual disfrutó el show. La cantidad de personas que habían se duplicó debido a Suso y algo que me puso un poco incómodo fue que delante de nosotros había una familia con un niño autista quien estaba muy alterado. Digo incómodo, porque yo estaba sufriendo con el niño, bien se sabe que muchos de ellos son demasiado sensibles al ruido y ese día el ruido era altísimo, pero bueno, son cosas que pasan, hay padres bien particulares que no consideran a sus hijos... Haciendo este hecho a un lado, la noche fue increíble, pasamos una gran velada para luego pasear otro rato más y volver a casa. Me encantó haber reído mucho ese día, lo necesitábamos debido al estrés de la semana; fue una noche terapéutica, con la mejor compañía, un clima super agradable y un ambiente de fiesta muy bonito. Amigas y amigos, agradezco a cada uno de ustedes por su visita, espero de todo corazón que hayan disfrutado de este TBT tanto como yo al redactarlo 🙏❤️... Hello Hive and Hive Open Mic family, this is Fernando Benedetti. It's a pleasure to be with you on this new topic that inspires us to give love through hugs, those that are genuine, that come from the soul, and that connect the energy that flows from the heart. I was absent for a few days because I was on bed rest. The neuropathy I was diagnosed with last year recently took its toll on my workouts, and as a result, I had to stop training. However, I'm much better now and ready to rock this stage once again.

Hugging is the noblest act of our personality. It can happen when we want to give someone strength in a difficult moment, it happens when we want to let others know we'll always be there for them, it happens when we motivate someone, it happens when we console someone where emptiness has appeared... The simple act of hugging releases happiness hormones and can save a life in danger; doing it daily with those we love, for example, is synonymous with a healthy life, and doing it with a person who has lost their purpose in life... is simply giving a little of our light to the darkness of another.

This month is very important to me; first, because last August 5th I celebrated 4 years in Hive, and second, because next August 22nd, I will turn 42. I personally am a very affectionate person; I like to give hugs. I don't just do it on important dates; I do it daily, especially around my family to strengthen the emotional bonds between each of us.

"Vampire Heart" is from the fifth studio album by the Finnish band H.I.M, released in 2005. It's a song that speaks of eternity from the perspective of a vampire who loves and suffers within his immortality. Hola familia de Hive y del Hive Open Mic, les saluda Fernando Benedetti, es un placer estar con ustedes en esta nueva temática que nos impulsa a dar amor mediante los abrazos, esos que son genuinos, que vienen desde el alma y que conectan la energía que fluye desde el corazón. Estuve ausente unos días porque estuve de reposo debido a que la neuropatía que me diagnosticaron el año pasado, hizo de las suyas recientemente en mis jornadas de ejercicio físico y por ende tuve que parar el entrenamiento, no obstante, ya estoy mucho mejor y listo para rockear esta tarima una vez más.

Abrazar es el acto más noble de nuestra personalidad, se puede dar cuando queremos dar fuerzas a alguien en un momento fuerte, se da cuando queremos hacer saber que siempre estaremos ahí para los demás, se da cuando motivamos a alguien, se da cuando consolamos en donde el vacío se hizo presente... El simple hecho de abrazar libera las hormonas de la felicidad y puede salvar una vida en peligro; hacerlo a diario con quienes amamos por ejemplo, es sinónimo de una vida sana y hacerlo con una persona que ha perdido su propósito de vida... es simplemente dar un poco de nuestra luz a la oscuridad del otro.

Este mes es muy importante para mi; primero porque el pasado 5 de agosto cumplí 4 años en Hive y segundo, porque el próximo 22 de agosto, cumplo 42 años de vida. Yo personalmente soy una persona muy afectuosa, me gusta dar abrazos, no solo lo hago en fechas importantes, lo hago a diario principalmente en mi entorno familiar para reforzar los vínculos afectivos que hay entre cada uno de nosotros.

"Vampire Heart" pertenece al quinto álbum de estudio de la banda finlandesa H.I.M, lanzado en el año 2005. Es una canción que habla de la eternidad desde el punto de vista de un vampiro quien ama y sufre dentro de su inmortalidad. Hello Hive and Hive Open Mic family, it is a pleasure to be with you once again on a topic that I like because it reflects the best process that we humans can go through when we discover the path of self-love... Healing!!!

We all heal at different rates, some quickly, others take longer, but the fact is that when we face traumatic or very stressful situations, we begin to experience loving ourselves when we hit rock bottom; then, we set parameters within that spectrum of love that will later redefine our self-esteem, self-image, self-concept, and self-knowledge. When these parameters are well identified and put into action, we progressively achieve self-realization, which consists of a state of fulfillment in all areas of our lives.

We heal when we understand respect, we heal when we understand rejection, we heal when we understand aggression, we heal when we understand sadness and the origin of our problems, because at that very moment, we enlighten our consciousness and ascend to the next level of wisdom that goes hand in hand with the humility with which we assimilate, process, and transform that which harms us, that which robs us of vital energy and that which nullifies us.

Hola familia de Hive y del Hive Open Mic, es un placer estar con ustedes una vez más en una temática que me gusta porque refleja el mejor proceso por el cual podemos pasar los seres humanos cuando descubrimos la senda del amor propio... La Sanación!!!

Todos sanamos a diferentes ritmos, algunos rápido, otros se llevan más tiempo, pero el hecho es que cuando enfrentamos situaciones traumáticas o muy estresantes, empezamos a vivir la experiencia de amarnos cuando tocamos fondo; luego, ponemos parámetros dentro de ese espectro de amor que posteriormente van a redefinir nuestro autoestima, autoimagen, autoconcepto y autoconocimiento. Cuando estos parámetros son bien identificados y se ponen en acción, conquistamos progresivamente la autorrealización, la cual consiste en un estado de plenitud en todas las áreas de nuestras vidas.

Sanamos cuando entendemos el respeto, sanamos cuando entendemos el rechazo, sanamos cuando entendemos la agresión, sanamos cuando entendemos la tristeza y la génesis de nuestros males, porque justamente en ese momento, iluminamos nuestra consciencia y subimos al siguiente nivel de sabiduría que va de la mano con la humildad con la que asimilamos, procesamos y transformamos aquello que nos daña, aquello que nos resta energía vital y aquello que nos anula.

La canción que les traigo se llama "Let's Go" y pertenece al 3er álbum de estudio del DJ escocés Calvin Harris, lanzado en el año 2012 y la cual cuenta con la participación en las voces del cantante de R&B Ne-Yo. Elegí esta canción porque cuando sanamos nos sentimos felices y con ganas de comernos el mundo al igual que la letra de la canción. Hello, Hive family and this great community of memories called TBT. Today, I'm here to briefly tell you about an adventure I had before the pandemic, when I was a psychologist for a soccer academy here in my city.

In my nearly 20 years of professional practice in psychology, I had never worked in the field of sports, and I must say that the experience is unlike any other area of work. I have been a psychologist in the clinical, organizational, and educational fields; I have been a school and university teacher, but being on a field with children and teenagers who are committed to a sport as demanding as soccer is another story.

Through the video and the following photos, I will summarize almost a year of something new for me that strengthened my professional career even more, giving me incredible tools to apply in future experiences in the field of sports if I encounter this context again. Hola familia de Hive y de esta grandiosa comunidad de recuerdos llamada TBT; hoy les acompaño para contarles brevemente una aventura que viví antes de la pandemia, se trata de cuando fui psicólogo para una academia de futbol aquí en mi ciudad.

En mis casi 20 años de ejercicio profesional en la psicología, nunca había trabajado en el área del deporte y debo decirles que la experiencia no se compara con otras áreas de trabajo. Yo he sido psicólogo en el área clínica, organizacional, educativa; he sido docente escolar y universitario, pero estar en una cancha con niños y adolescentes que le apuestan a un deporte tan demandante como el futbol, es otra historia.

Por medio del video y las siguientes fotos les resumiré casi un año de algo nuevo para mi que fortaleció mi carrera profesional mucho más, dándome herramientas increíbles para aplicarlas en próximas experiencias en el área del deporte si vuelvo a toparme con este contexto. Total Pro Academy came to me through my nephew, who was part of it. One day, my brother asked me to take Gabriel to one of their training sessions, and to my surprise, the academy was just starting out. When I realized that they didn't have a psychologist (while other academies did), I offered my services to the technical director, and without thinking twice, he accepted. The only downside was that there was no contract or minimum salary, and what I earned was not proportional to what I would do, but I accepted it to make myself known and also out of necessity, as I had only been in the city for a short time and my financial situation was a bit depressing.

The experience was very new to me, and that excited me because I was charting my own course. I had to study a lot more about soccer, even though I had been a soccer player in my teens, and I had to study what FIFA establishes as performance evaluation parameters for a player. I had to adapt this to the ages of the kids, since we had children as young as 5 and teenagers as old as 15 and 16. The kids trained three times a week, and I went those three days in the afternoon and part of the evening. The coolest thing was that when the parents found out that the academy had a psychologist, my contact with them was more direct, and the academy's reputation quickly grew, attracting more kids to sign up.

Total Pro Academy llega a mi por medio de mi sobrino, quien formaba parte de ella; mi hermano un día me pidió el favor de llevar a Gabriel a uno de sus entrenamientos y para mi sorpresa la academia estaba empezando apenas su camino y cuando me di cuenta que no tenían psicólogo (mientras otras academias sí) le ofrecí mis servicios al director técnico y sin pensarlo mucho aceptó. Lo único malo de esto fue que no había contrato ni un sueldo mínimo, lo que yo ganaba no era proporcional a lo que haría pero lo acepté para darme a conocer y también por necesidad ya que llevaba poco tiempo en la ciudad y mi situación económica era un poco deprimente.

La experiencia era muy novedosa para mi y eso me daba emoción porque yo mismo marcaba mi camino. Tuve que estudiar mucho más sobre el futbol a pesar de que yo fui futbolista en mi adolescencia y me tocó estudiar lo que la FIFA establece como parámetros de evaluación de desempeño para un jugador. Esto tuve que adaptarlo a las edades de los chicos ya que teníamos desde niños de 5 años, hasta adolescentes de 15 y 16 años. Los chicos entrenaban 3 veces a la semana y yo iba esos 3 días en la tarde y parte de la noche, lo más genial de todo es que cuando los padres se enteraron que la academia tenía psicólogo, mi contacto con ellos era más directo y la reputación de la academia se incrementó rápidamente atrayendo a más chicos a inscribirse.

The academy, in the midst of its fame, attracted the support of a city councilman, which led to training sessions being moved to a larger field, as they had initially been held on a synthetic turf field rented by the director on a weekly basis. On the other hand, the kids became much more committed, and the responsibility of the teachers and myself increased. The most complex part was including my area's evaluations in the boys' daily training, but I succeeded, which earned me the acceptance of the parents and their congratulations for the coaching staff.

The boys supported and enjoyed my talks and preparations for the games, and they already felt confident when talking about any situation that upset them on the field. The relationship with all of them was so pleasant that whenever training ended, we would play a few games of soccer, and they liked how I played, haha...

The greatest satisfaction I achieved in a short time was helping to take the boys to the final of a local cup that was being played. Both the children's and under-15 categories had the joy of reaching the finals, putting on an incredible performance in front of the crowd, even though both ended up as runners-up. The coaching staff worked admirably for many weeks to ensure that the boys had the skills necessary to achieve what they did.

La academia en medio de su fama, atrajo el apoyo de un concejal del municipio lo que llevó los entrenamientos a un campo más grande ya que inicialmente se hacía en una cancha de grama sintética alquilada por el director semanalmente. Por otro lado, los chicos se comprometían mucho más y la responsabilidad de los docentes y mía aumentaba. La parte más compleja fue incluir las evaluaciones de mi área al entrenamiento cotidiano de los chicos pero lo logré con éxito lo que me acreditó con la aceptación de los padres y sus felicitaciones para el cuerpo técnico.

Los chicos apoyaban y disfrutaban mis charlas y preparaciones para los partidos, además ya se sentían en confianza a la hora de hablar sobre alguna situación que les desequilibrara en el campo de juego. La relación con todos ellos fue tan agradable que siempre que terminaban los entrenamientos jugábamos unos partidos de futbol y les gustaba como yo jugaba jeje...

La satisfacción más grande que conseguí en poco tiempo fue contribuir a llevar a los muchachos a la final de una copa local que se estaba jugando. Tanto la categoría infantil como la sub 15, tuvieron la dicha de llegar a las finales, haciendo un papel increíble frente a los presentes a pesar de que ambos quedaron de subcampeones. En el cuerpo técnico hicimos un trabajo admirable de muchas semanas para poder hacer que los chicos tuvieran las habilidades necesarias para lograr lo que lograron.

At the end of 2019, with a pandemic warning in place, we managed to close out the year's activities with all the kids and their parents before going on vacation. That day, we rented bouncy castles for the little ones and brought a PlayStation 4 to play a FIFA 20 tournament with the teenagers. We all decorated the place with blue balloons, had a barbecue, and played soccer with the kids' parents. It was a wonderful day.

Finalizando el año 2019 y con aviso de pandemia en marcha, logramos hacer un cierre de actividades con todos los chicos y sus padres para luego irnos de vacaciones. Ese día alquilamos castillos inflables para los pequeños y llevamos una Playstation 4 para jugar con los adolescentes un torneo en el juego de FIFA 20. Todos decoramos el lugar con globos azules, hicimos una parrillada y jugamos también futbol con los papás de los chicos, fue un día maravilloso.

In view of the academy's rise, this led us to hold talks with parents from time to time so that they could keep abreast of their children's progress on the field. Each teacher provided an assessment of each child in their area of expertise. In my case, I evaluated the mental and emotional state of each player in correlation with their physical condition and performance. The parents really enjoyed these talks because we provided very comprehensive reports on each child, allowing them to see the effectiveness of our work through figures and statistics.

En vista del ascenso de la academia, eso nos llevó a hacer charlas a los padres cada cierto tiempo para que ellos estuvieran al tanto del avance de sus hijos en el campo de juego. Cada docente daba un balance desde su área de cada chico, en mi caso yo evaluaba el estado mental y emocional en correlación con el estado físico y el desempeño de cada jugador. Loa padres disfrutaban mucho de estas charlas porque hacíamos informes bien completos de cada chico para que vieran con cifras y estadísticas la eficacia del trabajo hecho por nosotros.

Total Pro currently does not exist. When the pandemic began, we had to continue what we had started through virtual classes. It wasn't the same, but it was a new way of working. It was very complex because the kids didn't have space in their homes to do certain activities, and others had frequent problems with the internet. The academy's finances went downhill, and when social isolation ended and we were able to return to the courts, more than half of the kids left the academy due to the imminent fear of COVID. The decision to close the academy was painful for all the teachers, but unfortunately, there was no other option...

I got to know the coolest side of psychology. The field of sports, in addition to being demanding, led me to explore and strengthen many of my skills. For example, since I was a player when I was younger, I knew what the sport was all about. I'm almost bilingual, I have a high level of English, and that allowed me to communicate with kids who came from the US to train with us and didn't know any Spanish. I also further developed my ability to communicate my knowledge and had the honor of meeting one of the legends of Colombian soccer, the great Víctor Hugo Aristizábal, known as “Aristigol,” who is now a commentator for ESPN 🔥🔥🔥

If I could repeat this experience again, I would gladly do so. Being a psychologist for an emerging or professional team is exciting and requires a lot of work, but I enjoyed every stage of what I did since I arrived at Total Pro. Colombia, and specifically Medellín, is the birthplace of great players, and being able to experience that firsthand is unlike anything else I have done in my profession. Soccer is a great sport, and I grew up in an environment where this sport was the best, apart from the fact that there were soccer players in my family. Total Pro actualmente no existe, cuando inició la pandemia nos tocó continuar lo iniciado mediante clases virtuales, no era lo mismo, pero fue una nueva forma de trabajar; fue algo muy complejo porque los chicos no tenían espacio en sus casas para hacer ciertas actividades y otros tenían problemas frecuentes con el internet. Las finanzas de la academia se fueron a pique y cuando acabó el aislamiento social y pudimos regresar a las canchas, más de la mitad de los chicos dejaron la academia por el temor inminente del covid. La decisión de cerrar la academia fue dolorosa para todos los docentes, pero lamentablemente no había otra opción...

Yo conocí la cara más genial de la psicología, el área del deporte además de ser exigente, me llevó a explorar y a reforzar muchas de mis habilidades; por ejemplo, como yo fui jugador de joven, sabía como era el deporte en esencia. Yo soy casi bilingüe, tengo alto conocimiento del inglés y eso me permitió comunicarme con chicos que venían de Estados Unidos a entrenar con nosotros y que no sabían nada de español. Igualmente nutrí más mi forma de comunicar mis conocimientos y tuve el honor de conocer a una de las leyendas del futbol colombiano, al gran Víctor Hugo Aristizábal conocido como "Aristigol" quien hoy en día es comentarista de la cadena televisiva ESPN 🔥🔥🔥

Si pudiera repetir esta experiencia nuevamente, lo haría con gusto, ser psicólogo de un equipo emergente o profesional es algo apasionante y que lleva mucho trabajo, sin embargo, yo disfruté cada etapa de lo que hice desde mi llegada a Total Pro. Colombia y específicamente, Medellín, es la cuna de grandes jugadores y el hecho de haber podido vivir eso en primera fila, no se compara con algo más que haya hecho en mi profesión. El futbol es un gran deporte y yo crecí en un ambiente donde este deporte era lo mejor, aparte de que en mi familia habían futbolistas. Agradezco a cada uno de ustedes por su visita, espero de todo corazón que hayan disfrutado de este TBT tanto como yo al redactarlo 🙏❤️...
