This week we are talking about the romantic-comedy Fever Pitch starring Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore, and the Red Sox historic world championship season.

Ben is a public school teacher in Boston obsessed with the Red Sox and Lindsey is a high-powered corporate something singly focused on her career. They feel this is perfect for each other at first but they soon find it doesn't work when their relationship starts to get really serious.

Fever Pitch is a a fun, lighthearted comedy with some really tender moments. Fallon does a good job handling the drama and is excellent with the comedy. Barrymore struggles to find depth in the drama but is fun, charming, and very likable as her character. Fever Pitch is an entertaining romantic-comedy you don't have to take too seriously. Enjoy!
