The party arrive in the city of Cambrai where they have tracked Mina's brother using magic from Gwynn. She is anxious to see him but in what state will he be in. It has been nearly a year since any of her family have heard from him and until recently she did not even know if he was alive. Is he healthy? Is he whole? Will he even recognise her?

As our heroes continue their journey on the train they get a chance to learn more about the beautiful and mysterious woman who appears to have taken an interest in Gwynn. They also witness some very strange and magical activity on their journey that has nothing to do with them or the party witch's new admirer

Our heroes start their journey in search of Mina's brother. They will have to travel nearly 400 km north close to the Belgian border. The first leg of this journey being a coach ride to Lyon and the train to Dijon. What should be an uneventful journey however becomes very interesting when they meet a stunning woman who shows a keen interest in Gwynn.

The party must face down this trio of shapeshifting merfey and return their treasure quick enough that the fey do not look to seek out revenge for the theft. They must also plan for their upcoming journey north to the Belgian border where Gwynn's spell has revealed the location of Mina's brother.

The party having seen a trio of fey shapeshifing into dragons demand that treasure stolen from them be returned and now on the hunt for the suspected thief. While they are quite certain they know who the guilty party is will they be able to find them in to and be able to return this treasure to appease the fey?

The party is very busy trying to get things done. Sylvia runs another workshop showing the villagers how to make charms to try to protect their homes from the fey while Gwynn collects the materials she needs to attempt to locate Mina's brother. All while worrying about Du Bois who had seemed very sick after being bitten by the werewolf.

Having survived their fight with the werewolves the party confronts the Castillion family who they are certain are the creatures they were fighting. Sylvia and Gwynn also study and learn some new spells. The party is also concerned about Du Bois who was bitten by one of the werewolves in the fight and check on him to see how he is

The party's fight with the werewolves continues. Du Bois having been bitten by one of them is a bad change in the battle. Will they be able to come out alive while still avoiding killing these creatures they are certain are locals that they know.

The party finds themselves facing a trio of werewolves. They are certain that these creatures are local villagers and think they know exactly which family so find themselves in a terribly difficult position. They do not want to kill them, but they must also protect themselves. They also have the temperamental Philip Du Bois with them who will most certainly not be as concerned for these creatures safety and well being

Having returned to Cherville after their battle with Melisende Sylvia organises a demonstration to some of the villagers to teach them how to make charms to protect their homes from the fey in the same way the Castillion family use. Sylvia is also introduced to a new villager that Gwynn thinks could be a possible companion for her and who might be someone they could teach the fundamentals of magic. The party also hears a story from Du Bois of an animal attack he witnessed and which he claims was by a deadly monster.
