Back to back workouts! Yesterday, now today! Normally, I would skip a day, but I really wanted to get tri's and bi's together in the same workout. Had a good workout today. Lifted heavy for high reps to failure and got lots of reps and sets of rows, military press, and sissy squats for quads. Wow, what a difference a day makes! Monday, I skipped my workout because I got no sleep the night before. Tuesday, I woke up feeling fantastic and worked out while feeling like the incredible Hulk! Should we workout on no sleep? Also, I got some new (used) olympic plates I used to incrementally increase the weight on all of my lifts. My workout consisted of hamstrings, back, shoulders, and finished off with biceps. Nearly injured myself today when the squat rack I have that doubles as a bench press station slid back when I re-racked the 185 I was pressing. Thankfully, I was able to re-rack it by throwing my weight backward and didn't suffer an injury. I tell my back injury story from when I was a trainer at L.A. End of my second week of lifting and going on four hours sleep. Dragged myself to the basement for this workout. No excuses allowed. Wanted to get biceps in, since last week I didn't, so I only did three heavy sets for hamstrings and three for back, then jumped into cheat curls. After the workout, we talked about Mr. Natural Olympia, Paul Krueger, then discussed all of the covid craziness going on in Australia, starting with Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic and him having his visa revoked twice, his staying in a covid "quarantine camp" and the possibility that he won't be competing in the Australian Open. First day of the second week of training. Seeing some changes. Did chest, tri's and core. Talked about training your CNS (central nervous system). Then, we discussed more of the covid insanity and transgender swimmers.

First full week of working out. Did hamstrings, back, and skipped biceps because I was too tired. We'll rest up this weekend and do it all next week.
