Saphreen (known off the dancefloor as Onnie) drew "The Fool" this summer, and now walks a path that excites and terrifies her in equal measure. Her journey of one thousand miles began with the single step of ending a toxic relationship to her previous job. She's been dreaming of becoming a household name in Montreal's nightlife, and is training her technical and performance skills daily. Tender Buttons is @akash-bansal; a multidisciplinary writer, filmmaker, DJ and programmer based between Toronto and Montreal.

Over the past 8 years they have hosted radio residencies on the Lot Radio, n10as, TRP and CHRY. Since 2016, they have co-hosted Pillow Talk, a quarterly experimental dance music event that seeks to build new artists communities through multi-sensory dance parties. They previously worked for esteemed label Séance Centre and helped book Toronto’s favorite listening room– The Little Jerry.

Julia Dickens is a DJ, visual artist, and designer based out of Toronto, ON. A former record store clerk and still-avid collector of music, she ran a mixtape blog from 2013-2015 called The Loving Echo, and currently hosts two radio shows on @n10-as and @trueconnectionfm. Her live sets oscillate between squiggly techno, electro and acid, bouncy house and disco, with a deep love for left field sounds, experimentation and emotional impact in all music.

Riv is a multimedia artist juggling many projects in their early stages. Fka aso ani (genre bending weirdness), she now goes by the aliases Demi gorl (queer party tunes) and R.ivy (ambient and chill beats). She’s been using her song creations to amplify the joy and peace she obtains from self care practices. She recommends pairing her ambient music, eclectic spiritual beats and wildly unpredictable techno experiments with candle lighting, crystal energizing and closed-eyed interpretive dancing sessions, respectively. This bright, gritty techno stepper of a mix is a portion of an informal 2021 recording. S/O DJ Coteries for hopping on the decks a couple times.

The cover art is a manipulated image of a flower pot Riv decorated under the moonlight with repurposed beads from worn out 90’s sandals while amidst a power failure. The day after, she dropped it on the floor and it broke beyond repair. She offers a cheers to this cover art for making that disappointment feel less dire.
