Happy prep day and blessings family! Praise Yahuah for the sun and the rain! Praise Yah for each new day! Rejoice and sing of His wonders!

Yahuah, Abba, Creator we praise and worship you! All creation cries, Holy, Holy, Holy! You are righteousness and magnificent! Thank you for loving us so much that you sent your son to shine on us and give His life to pay our ransom! Yahusha, our Salvation, our friend indeed that covers all our needs! Yahusha Ha'Mashiach is the light that still pierces the darkness of sin. Still saving us and the world. Still pouring out living water for thirsty souls and bread of life to the hungry hearts longing for the embrace of our Savior. Father, create in us a clean heart and vessel and we pray to be found worthy so you abide in us. For where you are is where we long to be. We pray for strength to endure this narrow path walk of daily tribulation and we thank you for your Torah that illuminates the footsteps of Yahusha Ha'Mashiach leading us to your Kingdom. Father, hear our cries for this world, for your creation, for every man, woman, and child. Please, do not turn your face from us but shine upon us healing and comfort! You know all needs and we stand in the gap for all creation and lift all the needs to you. Show your magnificence to the world yet again. Make your signs and wonders outshine anything the adversary is festering and growing. We have faith in you and your works! We trust your timing! Give us lion hearts to stand against the wickedness of this world as your peculiar treasures. We are singing the song of Moshe and the song of the Lamb! Holy, Holy, Holy! Worthy, Worthy, Worthy! Come, Yahusha , Come! Lead us home to the Father's house! We pray in the names of Yahuah and Yahusha and lift your praises on high, let it be so, let your Kingdom come! Amein!

Precept upon precept, line by line reading. Week 31 Torah Portion - Emor (Say) Leviticus 21:1-24:23. Translation: את Cepher

(5.14.24)

The Torah section of Emor (“Say”) begins with the special laws pertaining to the kohanim (“priests”), the kohen gadol (“high priest”), and the Temple service: A kohen may not become ritually impure through contact with a dead body, save on the occasion of the death of a close relative. A kohen may not marry a divorcee, or a woman with a promiscuous past; a kohen gadol can marry only a virgin. A kohen with a physical deformity cannot serve in the Holy Temple, nor can a deformed animal be brought as an offering. A newborn calf, lamb or kid must be left with its mother for seven days before being eligible for an offering; one may not slaughter an animal and its offspring on the same day.

The second part of Emor lists the annual Callings of Holiness—the festivals of the Hebrew calendar: the weekly Shabbat; the bringing of the Passover offering on 14 Nissan; the seven-day Passover festival beginning on 15 Nissan; the bringing of the Omer offering from the first barley harvest on the second day of Passover, and the commencement, on that day, of the 49-day Counting of the Omer, culminating in the festival of Shavuot on the fiftieth day; a “remembrance of shofar blowing” on 1 Tishrei; a solemn fast day on 10 Tishrei; the Sukkot festival—during which we are to dwell in huts for seven days and take the “Four Kinds”—beginning on 15 Tishrei; and the immediately following holiday of the “eighth day” of Sukkot (Shemini Atzeret).

Next the Torah discusses the lighting of the menorah in the Temple, and the showbread (lechem hapanim) placed weekly on the table there.

Emor concludes with the incident of a man executed for blasphemy, and the penalties for murder (death) and for injuring one’s fellow or destroying his property (monetary compensation).

Happy prep day, Beloved! Shalom and blessings to everyone! What a glorious day Yahuah has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!

Father, Yahuah, we worship and praise you, highest of the holy! Your ways are high above earth. Yahuah, lift our thoughts high above the ways of the world, focused on your will and way! Guide the work of our hands, speak to us and show us the tasks you have for us to complete. Here we are Yahuah, send us and use us as is your will. Mold us to be better versions of our selves that are able to control our flesh. Put your words in our mouths and remove all guile. Father, we lift those who are sick, recovering from surgery, dealing with work stress, needing work, needing food, needing help in any way. We lift all the body of Yahusha to you and ask for healing to be upon it in all ways needed. Thank you for sending Yahusha Ha'Mashiach that we may be saved and return to you. Thank you for your Torah with your precepts, commandments, and statutes that we may know your will and way of living. We pray we delight you with our obedience. Yahusha, we long to see you returning in the clouds so we may be gathered to you. As we wait we follow in your footsteps Mashiach and fight the good fight to endure until the end. The Parshah of Qodeshiym begins with the statement: “You shall be holy, for I, יהוה your Elohyim, am holy.” This is followed by dozens of mitzvot (divine commandments) through which the Jew sanctifies him- or herself and relates to the holiness of Yahuah.

These include: the prohibition against idolatry, the mitzvah of charity, the principle of equality before the law, Shabbat, sexual morality, honesty in business, honor and awe of one’s parents, and the sacredness of life.
