The monster of apathy. This can be the deadliest of monster because it hides itself so well and is the most culturally accepted. If you aren’t moving towards Jesus with a sense of urgency, you’ll get swallowed by the monster of apathy, not caring, just floating through life. When Jesus looks at the fig tree he expects to find fruit and when he doesn’t he curses the tree. When he looks at our lives as Christians, he expects to see good fruit showing through as well.

This week we are talking about what happens when our desire for things other than God become stronger than our desire for God. When the monster of lust shows itself, the things we thought would satisfy us can actually lead us to a place of emptiness.

Because you doubt, doesn't mean you're out. It's what you do with the doubt that counts. In this talk we will be looking at the story of Jesus walking on water and then calling Peter to do the same. it’s alright to have doubts but we must learn to take them to God so that he can lead us to an answer or help us wrestle with the truth.

Remaining pure in body, mind, eyes, and heart could be the most difficult thing kids will face in their preteens their teens, and on into adulthood. The BIG idea of purity is more than just waiting to have sex until you are married. It's about choosing to live a lifestyle of honoring and loving God.

Do you ever sense in your heart that you’re known for the wrong things? Or maybe its that people don’t know the real you? Or maybe you know you spend a considerable amount of time trying to paint a picture of being someone you’re really not just so you can be known for something that seems to be “in” right now.

God was the intended King of Israel all along! He’s the best King we could’ve ever been given, but it’s ultimately a choice on whether or not we submit to Him. The question that remains today is, Is Jesus your King?
