We continue our Heaven and Earth series by focusing on the beginnings of evil. We read from Genesis 3 and learn about the great rebellion agains God taking place in the Heavenly realms and how humans joined that rebellion by believing a lie. The evil in our world today is an overflow of that rebellion. But God has a plan! Dallas navigates the questions of “What is God doing about evil today?" and “What is God’s plan for the future?"

We continue our Heaven and Earth series by focusing on the big idea that we can trust God. We observe from Genesis 1 that in the beginning God made everything good out of the midst of chaos and in many ways He is still doing the same things today. God can bring about good from the chaos in our lives and we can trust Him to do so because He has displayed His love since the very beginning.

This week in middle school, Dallas Greenaway opens up our new series, Distinct. We learned about what makes our faith distinct in a world where there are many different things that people believe. Specifically, we looked in John chapter 1 to see how Jesus is distinct from other Gods and religious leaders.

This week, Peter Peach talks about how God uses our community to shape and mold us into his image. We look at a few verses from the book of John and Proverbs to see what the Scripture says about the importance of finding healthy community. 

This week, JJ Bunney talks about community being like a sports team - everyone has their own role and to play well, you have to work together. We look at Matthew 28:19-20 and our purpose as Christian community. We also look at Acts 2:42-47 and leaning into our communities.

This week, Dallas talks about community and how the Church is so much more than Sundays or a building. The church is us as people. We look at 1 Timothy 5:1-8 and the purpose of the Church.
