This week, in a show sponsored by CyberPointers, Kelly Lea Teske returns to help us better understand how to make the most of our next visit to the eye doctor and the optician. Kelly first joined us in a Sept. 2, 2023 show we did with Rinda Just. The topic of that show was macular degeneration and other vision issues. This time, we learn that, as is so often the case, a successful visit starts with communicating what you want to achieve when you make your appointment and when you meet with the technician for those initial examination steps. If you make it clear you want glasses for stitching, by the time you get to the eye doctor, he/she will be able to write a prescription that will allow the optician to order the lenses you need. The goal of this show is to provide you with the information so you can ask intelligent questions when you visit the eye doctor.
