Adam travels to Gilikin City, a city with a giant clock tower towering over it. The heartbeat of the city is the ticking of this clock. While there, he interviews Glinda Locasta, the Witch of the North. But time is catching up. He needs to find the clues before time takes them away.

After receiving an intriguing voicemail from his friend Jacob in Oz, Adam Farmer travels there to see what this new case has to offer. He soon finds out quickly that he may be in over his head. There is a serial killer in Oz and Adam helps Jacob try and put the ingredients of the case together only to find out that it isn't jelling. He travels to Munchkin City in hopes of finding the answers he is looking for.
