This is a rough and ready recording of a short story that I wrote a couple weeks back on my blog. I'm recording this to get into the habit or reading my work out loud a few times. I'm posting it because, well, why not.

This is a recording of the ocean from South Beach on Point Reyes National Seashore. I wanted to record as close to Point Reyes Lighthouse as possible whilst being close to the action (too windy, too far away otherwise). You can't access the shore from the lighthouse, so this meant a ~5 hour out and back along the beach until I was underneath it. This audio was recorded via in-ear binaural microphones, so it'll sound best with your headphones in.

A quick note to kick things off and let you know (sort of) what you might find here in the future. What you hear in this episode is roughly what things will sound like: off the cuff, without any edits, and recorded wherever I happen to be.
