One hundred series. Five hundred and sixty games. Fifty-one walk-offs, two comebacks from the brink of elimination, one no-hitter that still ended in defeat, and an eighteen-inning marathon that tested the limits of two rosters and everyone watching. The Play-In Round of Field of Dreams has been running since Episode 1, and after one hundred series of all-eras Major League Baseball history colliding in a knockout tournament, it is time to stop and take stock of what has been built.

Episode 22 is The Centennial — a special commemorative broadcast covering everything that has happened across the first one hundred series of competition. The New York Yankees lead all franchises with ten wins. The Pittsburgh Pirates have been the most consistent challenger. The Colorado Rockies have been the tournament’s hardest luck story. The 1971 San Diego Padres — a hundred-loss team in real life — pulled off one of the great upsets in tournament history. Eddie Cicotte threw a no-hitter and still went home a loser. Babe Ruth delivered a walk-off in a seven-game classic that stands as the best series the tournament has ever produced.

This episode also marks the official launch of the Diamond Ledger — the living record of the greatest individual hitting and pitching performances in Field of Dreams history, updated every hundred series as the competition continues.
