You know those times in your life where you feel like you're just sort of surviving. You don't know your purpose or maybe you're just so bogged down in stress that you distract yourself with food, booze, and anything that will take your mind off how much it sucks. I think we all have these moments in our lives at one point or another. For me and Kelsey Eyers, we both had them for a long period of time where we hit rock bottom and had to find our way out.

Kelsey Eyers is the owner of two companies: SweatCBD & Boss Boxx. But it wasn't always this way. Not too long ago, she was living in survival mode partying Thursday through Sunday, living life in a circle. Until one day something happened. Something that would lead her from rock bottom to her purpose.

We decided it would be fun to interview each other to share our stories as they both are strewn with relatable challenges like anxiety, following our distractions over our purpose, and many other things that hold people back.

Both of us hit rock bottom in our lives and came to a crossroads and chose to move forward. We're sharing how we did it, the importance of choosing purpose and passion, and the power of discipline and consistency.

Do you ever beat yourself up and want to give up on a goal because you "aren't THERE yet?"

You know, that elusive "there" that we all want to be at where we're standing at the end of our goal and raising our arms victoriously because WE MADE IT! So often when we set out on a new goal, we're at the beginning or the middle, and that isn't ideal for us because we want to be THERE.

.

While it's so important to always have your eyes on the end goal, it's also so important (if not more!) to focus on how far you've come & that you even started. This is the perspective that makes winners.

.

How many times have you given up early because you weren't there yet? This perspective is missing the one thing you need to say to yourself every single day or when you feel like you aren't far enough along. Because when you can start embracing the journey and appreciating who you're becoming along the way, only then can you step fully into the path and enjoy it! Which will ensure you won't give up.

You know those times when you start looking at your life and beating yourself up because it's not where it 'should' be, when you think it 'should' be and how you think it 'should' be?!

It's this perfect storm of self-sabotage that thinks everyone else is on their perfect path at the exact, perfect time...everyone except you right?

I mean, girlfriend, I can relate so big to this and so much so that I want to talk about it! In this episode, I'm sharing how these gigantic expectations of the way things should look, feel and be mindset are showing up in my world right now and how I'm re-grounding myself in expectations that are rooted in gratitude, abundance and trust, not scarcity.

The truth is, no one has it all figured out. No one has a perfect path except their very own imperfect path. No one knows what they're doing. Even recording this episode...no idea if it's just a bunch of scrambled words or if it's going to land. Because that's the thing...we're so scared to be IMPERFECT that we don't even try. Rome was not built in a day, and neither are you babe. You are a work of art. A masterpiece and that sh*t takes time. It takes perspective and a daily coming back to this mindset and heartset that all is on time and all is just as it should be.
