In today's episode, I am talking to the phenomenal Nene Akintan.
Nene Judy Akintan is a Wife, Mother, Entrepreneur, Mentor, Speaker, Author, Realtor, Advocate, and, more importantly, God’s Unique Creation.
Nene grew up in a family of hard-working folks. Her parents were born into poverty but became successful in their careers through hard work, ambition, and a spirit of excellence. Nene imbibed these qualities and works for her clients with that same tenacity, spirit of excellence, and appreciation of the emotional component of buying or selling a home.
With a BSc, MBA & MSc, and the Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) and Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designations, Nene has excelled in multiple fields throughout her career.
She owns Oakville Living With Nene, a real estate business, and co-runs the non-profit foundation I AM. I CAN. I WILL, with her adult children Temi, Tife, and her niece Olympia.
Nene's dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion in the business community is reflected in her position as the Vice Chair of the Canadian Black Chamber Of Commerce.
Her guiding philosophy, Honesty. Integrity. Tenacity. (H.I.T.), has served as the foundation of her success as a Banker, Consultant, Entrepreneur, Volunteer, and Realtor.
In this episode, we discuss tenacity, being open to feedback, and operating from a place of excellence. Nene shares her experiences and how to overcome challenges and be successful as a realtor.
