In an NIH study in 2006, it was found that men have an average net worth more than $100k than women. They looked at over 10,000 people over almost 50 years from 1957 to 2004. In 1957, their participants were 18. In 2004, they were in their 60s. They tracked their wealth over the years.
Another study from 2020 shows much lower net worths and a difference of about $7,000 more for men than women. This one looked at young professionals.
In this episode, we look at why and what that means for how to change it. You won't hear what I share anywhere else... that's just how male-dominated the financial world is.
