  • S10 E8 [Dirt: Rethinking Evil] Extend with Unity (Oneness)

Jesus invites us into a way of living that is both deeply rooted and radically relational. In this episode, we explore the vine and branches in John 15 and discover how truth, wisdom, and unity work together to transform our leadership. Learn how daily renewal keeps your soul clean, your relationships strong, and your influence grounded in love.

    WEEKLY REFLECTION:

    • Clean: Where am I avoiding naming what’s true?
If Jesus says, “You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you,” then where in my life or leadership am I avoiding that cleansing word?
    • Guard: What rhythms keep me connected to my secure identity?
“Remain in me, as I also remain in you.” What one practice would keep my soul abiding rather than performing? (i.e. pruning commitments, creating stillness, or setting boundaries on noise.)
    • Extend: What would it look like today to let God’s love in me show that His sending is real?
“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” Where can I intentionally build connection with someone outside my comfort zone, someone my tribe, group, or ego normally ignores or judges?

    WEEKLY REFLECTION:

    • Clean
      • Where am I telling myself a story that makes someone else “the problem” instead of facing my own part in the mess?
    • Guard
      • What process, practice, or boundary do I need to put in place so truth is protected without turning people into targets?
    • Extend
      • Who have I quietly written off that God might be calling me to serve, include, or repair with?

  • S10 E6 [Dirt: Rethinking Evil] Guard the House (Sustain)

Jesus teaches that true vigilance isn’t fear—it’s wisdom. In this episode, we explore how to guard your inner life without becoming anxious or numb. Learn how to clean with truth, lock with wisdom, and stay sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s guidance so your heart remains clear, peaceful, and strong.

    WEEKLY REFLECTION:

    • Clean & Lock Up Nightly: What “door” in my heart have I left unlocked like a habit, grudge, or fear that I need to close tonight through confession or forgiveness?

    • Do a House Scan Regularly: Where in my team, family, or community might small cracks be forming (confusion, resistance, or conflict) that need attention before they become division?

    • Fortify the Gates: What one daily rhythm (prayer, truth intake, accountability) will keep me spiritually alert instead of reactive or complacent this week?

  • S10 E5 [Dirt: Rethinking Evil] Guard the House (Jesus)

In this episode, we explore how Jesus redefined purity, power, and presence. Moving through the Gospel of Mark, we see how He didn’t just resist evil—He reversed it. Holiness flowed outward from Him, restoring what was defiled and bringing people back into community. Together, we’ll unpack how this truth changes how we see sin, suffering, and even our own influence: that goodness, when rooted in Christ, spreads faster than evil ever could.

    WEEKLY REFLECTION

    • Where in your life does the “house” of your heart or team feel like it has closed windows or stagnant air?
      • What practical step can you take this week to open a window and invite the Holy Spirit’s breath in?
    • Reflect on a moment when you operated in technique instead of intimacy (prayed a formula, followed a “deliverance script,” etc.).
      • What changed when you shifted your posture toward relational dependence instead?
    • When you think of “evil as dirt” (parasite, corrosion, not equal to God), what areas of your work or culture are you tempted to treat with fear or reaction instead of cleaning and clearing with truth, presence and wise boundary-keeping?

  • S10 E4 [Dirt: Rethinking Evil] Guard with Wisdom (Stand)

In this episode, we look at what it really means to guard the house with wisdom. Building on the biblical model of sacred space, we explore how evil operates subtly—not through dramatic battles, but through small distortions of the good. Together, we’ll look at how Scripture invites us to live alert but unafraid, creating sacred spaces in our minds, homes, and communities where truth and wisdom keep the house strong.

    WEEKLY REFLECTION:

    Truth → Wisdom → Unity

    • What truth do I need to tell or face this week so that my space, home, team, or church can move from chaos toward order and peace?

    Guarding the House

    • Where is God asking me to establish or strengthen a boundary that protects hearts through prayer, accountability, or process without turning into control or fear?

    Wisdom in the Gray

    • In a current decision, what would it look like to act wisely, not just by knowing what is right or wrong, but by applying truth to my unique situation with humility and faith?

  • S10 E3 [Dirt: Rethinking Evil] Clean with Truth (Restoration)

In this episode, we explore what it really means to “clean with truth.” Drawing from the book of Numbers, we see that God’s call to purity was never about punishment or perfection—it was about restoration. When truth becomes a tool for control, it distorts God’s intent. But when it’s used to restore what’s out of place, it brings healing, order, and grace. True holiness isn’t about who’s excluded—it’s about creating space for renewal, both in our lives and in our communities.

    WEEKLY REFLECTION:

    • Where am I using “purity” as a weapon instead of a remedy? (This gets to the heart of the Numbers message: truth is for restoration, not reputation management.)
    • What’s one “junk drawer” I need to open this week?
    • Who needs to be restored, not removed? (This ties to the Numbers 16–17 hinge and the redemptive theme. It pushes leaders to think like Aaron, to “stand between the living and the dead," and shift from punishment theater to restorative processes.)

  • S10 E2 [Dirt: Rethinking Evil] Clean with Truth (Holiness)

In Part 2 of Dirt: Rethinking Evil, we explore why evil isn’t a dark rival to God—it’s dirt that doesn’t belong in the house. Through Genesis, Leviticus, and real-life examples, we learn how to recognize distortion, clean it with truth, and live in alignment with the God who makes us whole.

    WEEKLY REFLECTION

    • Where am I currently collecting dirt from something that started as God’s gift but has become distorted in my life or leadership?(Example: ambition turned into anxiety, discipline turned into control, grace turned into passivity.)
    • When you run any situation of disorder through a simple truth test, what do you see?
      • Does it fit?
      • What fruit will result?
      • Does it lead to a free mind in Christ?
      • What do my wisest community members think?

  • S10 E1 [Dirt: Rethinking Evil] The Reality of Dirt

In this episode, we kick off the new series Dirt: Rethinking Evil with a fresh perspective: evil isn’t an equal rival to God—it’s dirt that doesn’t belong in the house. Through the story of Hezekiah in 2 Chronicles 29, we learn how to clean with truth, guard with wisdom, and extend with unity so we can live and lead from clarity instead of fear.

    WEEKLY REFLECTION:

    • CLEAN: What’s one area of your life or leadership where you sense “dirt” has built up and needs to be cleaned out this week?
    • GUARD: What boundary or guardrail do you need to put in place to keep new “dirt” from slipping back in?
    • EXTEND: Where is God calling you to extend light and goodness—beyond just keeping your own house clean—so that darkness is pushed back in your community or team?

  • S9 E8 [7 MindStakes] #7: I Can Arrive

Arrival is a myth. The moment we believe we’ve gone far enough is often when compromise begins. In this episode, we look at David’s turning point in 2 Samuel 11 and unpack why real leadership means staying awake to growth—resisting the idols, ideologies, and imitations of “arrival” to keep moving with God through every season of rest and risk.

    WEEKLY REFLECTION:

    • Where in your leadership have you slipped into maintenance mode by protecting what you’ve built instead of pressing into what’s next?
    • What specific part of your character, skills, or vision feels dull right now and how will you cooperate with its sharpening this week?
    • How can you practice the tension of holding gratitude for what God has done while still leaning forward into the next stretch of growth?

  • S9 E7 [7 MindStakes] #6: I Can Change People

We can’t change people, no matter how hard we try. In this episode, we explore what it means to lead and love like Jesus did with the rich young ruler: seeing the person, naming the truth, and releasing control. You’ll learn how to move from striving to positioning—creating space for transformation without forcing the outcome.

    WEEKLY REFLECTION:

    • Idol Question: Am I holding onto an image of who this person “should be” rather than inviting them into the substance of who they can be over the form I prefer?
    • Ideology Question: Am I trying to win the argument or serve the person?
    • Imitation Question: What pattern of behavior can I model consistently this week that gives others something they can reinvent in their own way?
