Mr. Ahnert welcomes everyone back from break with an overview of all the new texts we are studying this month. He also addresses how classes mentioned the events of January 6th at the Capitol. 

Mr. Ahnert gets a chance to talk about snow days and updates everyone on our current writing assignments in both Roots and Dream.

After a short introduction, Mr. Ahnert covers what students in IB English I, The American Dream AB, and Roots of Thought AB are working on. Oh, and then at the end he remembers to talk about what students are working on for Mr. Gum in The American Dream and Roots of Thought as well.
