Rich gives out his best bets for PFL 9 headlined by Brendan Loughnane versus Kai Kamaka III and UFC on ESPN 62 headlined by Jared Cannonier and Caio Borralho. We also recap last week's episode of Dana White's Contender Series and preview the upcoming week's slate. Additionally we go over the roster for Road to the UFC Season 3. We begin the episode recapping last week's boxing action and previewing upcoming bouts. Tom, Tony and Rich also discuss the increasingly odd setup for the Jake Paul versus Mike Tyson boxing match and Manny Pacquiao's big court victory over Conor McGregor's Paradigm Management. We wrap up the show with a report on the potential sentence Former UFC Champ Cain Velasquez will be facing for his vigilante shooting spree targeting the man who molested his young child.

This week Tony, Tom and Rich recap last week's boxing and MMA action for most of the show. A lot of time is spent discussing the lackluster performance Terrence "Bud" Crawford gave us last Saturday night. We finish with a big preview of this weekend's UFC on ESPN 61, featuring Marcin Tybura versus Serghei Spivac in the main event. We also discuss the controversy in olympic boxing surrounding Imane Khelif and her X chromosome advantage. Additionally we get into a recent interview where Dana White accuses Judge Boulware of taking something personal from their time attending the same high school together (Bishop Gorman). Boulware is the judge sitting on the UFC anti-trust cases that were recently settled until the judge took issue with the low amount of the final settlement. We also briefly discuss the assassination attempt against Former President Donald Trump, a longtime cheerleader for combat sports. Both Hulk Hogan and Dana White spoke at the Republican Convention in Wisconsin Thursday night while we were taping the show. We also recap last week's boxing events and look forward to another weekend packed with lots of great bouts.

Mr. International is his nickname, and be brought impeccable style to the game of mixed martial arts and many other fighting disciplines. Chicago Native Shonie Carter joins Tom and Rich in this episode for a long chat about his extensive travel around the world for fights of all kinds and his hopes for the future. He is looking for a documentary or movie producer to get in touch with him for a project about his life story. He also opens up about not being able to see his daughter and needing some legal representation to change that situation. Although his Sherdog record is not 100 percent accurate and leaves out lots of his fights from a long and winding road through combat sports, it shows he was an accomplished and dangerous fighter in the cage and ring.
