Blake Ewing is an important figure in the city of Tulsa. Getting his professional start as an entrepreneur in restaurants, Blake participated in what was seen as a renewal of energy in the space of downtown Tulsa. He then proceeded to work as a city counselor, and then contributed his gifts to the newly formed OKPOP museum. He is now Chief of Staff for Mayor G.T. Bynum.

We talk with him about the importance of renewal and restoration for people & neighborhoods, football games with wigs, what’s most important in communities, and the challenges and beauty of putting oneself out there.
