Paul Barach has done some pretty incredible things in his life, to include backpacking across Europe, backpacking the Pacific Crest Trail, teaching English in South Korea, running marathons, biking across the United States and he's also a black belt in karate. He's also one of the few people to have completed the 750 mile Shikoku pilgrimage trail in Japan, which he wrote about in his book Fighting Monks and Burning Mountains and is the story he vividly recounts on today's episode.
