This week on the show, we figure out what to make for dinner, talk oatmeal cookie sandwiches, and review the Plant Based Queso from Simple Truth.

And Dave drops another unpopular food opinion.

Things we mentioned in the episode:

  • using garlic to deter garden pests
  • baked macaroni and cheese -- add steamed broccoli and cooked slices of Beyond Sausage before baking. Top with tots, too, if you like. We did!
  • the winner of 'Til Tofu Us Part was homemade vegan oatmeal raisin cookies with whipped peanut butter frosting. The recipe will be up on Becky's site ASAP!
  • We've also reviewed Simple Truth's other plant-based dips. We previously tried their Buffalo dip and their Cilantro Jalapeno dip.

How to make Becky's Beyond Sausage with peppers and onions:

  1. Slice four Beyond Sausages into 1" pieces.
  2. Slice one or two bell peppers and a sweet onion into strips.
  3. Throw everything into the air fryer with a little bit of oil.
  4. Air fry at 400? for eight to 12 minutes, shaking once, until the sausage browns.
