Hey Filing Friends! No new ep this week because CHAOS is CHAOS-Y, but we promise that episode will be worth the wait!

In the meantime, here is another "re-broadcast", an episode of Eric's old show "What Went Wrong?" In this episode, Eric is joined by brother-in-law Chris to discuss horror movies in all shapes and sizes. Since it's from 2014 (!) some of it might feel a bit out of date, but as I remember it I think some of the discussions remain relevant today as well.

Ok, enough of the nonsense 1337 speak above, if you didn't understand, basically this is the numbers episode, a special little treat after finishing out the alphabet. Whatever audio didn't get redacted, that is....(redaction is a bit of a theme of the episode).

We also make mention of our friends the Para-Nerds, who you absolutely should be following on all social media platforms and listening to their pod, they are GREAT!

The films on the docket are 1996's "2 Days In The Valley", a crime flick with an incredible ensemble cast of characters, and 2019's war epic "1917", about 2 British soldiers harrowing journey through enemy lines to deliver a message.

The message WE have to deliver to you is THANK YOU for hanging out with us throughout our first season! Zoinks! We made it to the end of the alphabet! The very EDGE of the alphabet UNIVERSE! It's cold here in the void of space and time, so let us warm you up with some talk about our Zed films!

But before we get into Zodiac and Zombieland, we of course have our community segment with poll results from our "Y" episode, Eric reveals that they now have a TikTok account (created out of spite because of a listener mail...HA, take THAT Lucas!) Find it @fileunderpod. 

Then the movies proper....a bit of an unintended rush job discussing both of them. As much as we enjoyed the movies, we didn't really find much to talk about them unfortunately. Hopefully we had enough funny bits to keep you laughing and entertained throughout, however.

Now, about that ep…. We discuss Kevin Smith’s 2ndfilm in the proposed “True North” trilogy, Yoga Hosers…..which leads to lots of scatological and butt talk, soori aboot that.

We infer that because Erica was a fan of Tusk, she is probably directly responsible for bringing Yoga Hosers into existence, which could be the reason she loves it so much! We did enjoy it too, and think it’s “wunderbar”.

Next is You’re Next, the horror thriller invasion film that invaded our hearts with its awesomeness and inventive kills.

In true File Under: Entertainment fashion, this is the segment that goes completely off rails with tangents aplenty.

We finally give Erica a chance to promote Para-Nerds, like 45 minutes into the episode…again, no one can confuse us with professionals. Soori aboot that as well.

Lastly, check that ‘in-box’ because…You’ve Got Crabs, Assface! Errrm, soori aboot that thrice. Turns out it’s actually, You’ve Got Mail.

We yearn for the AOL dial up noise, get all nostalgic for physical bookstores and physical media, and wax intellectual on the philosophies of the film and how there has been such a cultural shift in the scant 23 years since its release.

That Tom Hanks, he’s funny in anything.

Naturally more tangents along the way, including several more catch phrases, (i.e. t-shirts that need to be designed), and more laughs than you can shake a Bratzi at.

Hey Filing Friends! No new ep this week because Eric is on vacation (and because the guys can't figure out what their "X" movies are going to be). 

Dylan said he had a bevy of XXX titles, but Eric said he adamantly refused that both of them cover the Vin Diesel movies for the podcast. Fuck Shia Lebeouf (sp?) - say goodbye to him as a listener (joining the long list the likes of Johnny Depp, Hans Zimmer, Dino Cappacini, Brendan Fraser, etc.        You will NOT be missed.

Voila! Episode V, though slightly delayed, is va-va-vooming into the void! 

Live vicariously through us as we discuss V For Vendetta and Very Bad Things. 

Tangents include Eric listening to (now defunct, but still VERY incredible) podcast 'Half Hour Happy Hour: Ladies Night', but he was so far behind he's just now into March 2020 when COVID-19 was kicking off, and it's incredible how misinformed we were as citizens of the world, and how much faith we put in the world's governments to get this sorted out quickly. Let this be a parallel lesson about trusting governments, which relates SOOOO well to the plot of V For Vendetta. 

Sidebar to that, we discuss the Presidency of that who shall not be named, and how that regime also parallels to the film. 

We also discuss how homosexuality is NOT a choice, and we CANNOT believe that people are persecuted for it, (more unfortunate parallels from the real world to V For Vendetta). 

Then, Eric keeps making bad movie decisions, not vetting yet another movie before presenting it to the pod for discussion, as we get into "very bad movie", Very Bad Things. We pretty much go beat by beat and still get through it in around 30 minutes, there is VERY little substance to this film, and Dylan voices his displeasure by saying VERY little. 

Hopefully next week I'll be in new "uniform", the t-shirt of Dylan's head grenade...if it turns out well, I'll let you know how to obtain our MERCH!

Hello from "under" the bus...that'll make sense in the next paragraph.

Dylan suffers from blood loss delirium, which is apparently contagious as Eric suffers a bout of delirium of his own about mid-way through this short episode where we discuss Undercover Brother and Underworld. (See what I did before?)

The "tangent pad" is utilized again, it comes in handy to document the following:

Dylan proposes that Eric has some kind of food related PTSD (burger burglars!)

We workshop plans for what we will do to wrap up season 1 since it's rapidly drawing to a close (unbelievable!)

Eric has to undermine our buddy David from 'Life Is Unfair' about his fear of sharks and Eric's "triggering" Call Of Duty calling card.

Eric's delirium hits full stride as a result of his hellish recent workload and how that is affecting his fragile psyche.

We double back around for yet MORE plans for where the show goes after season 1, with a potential new side cast on the nose called "Side Splitters".

We talk the potential pending release of merchandise for the show. Like, who WOULDN'T want a t-shirt with Dylan's face on it, photoshopped to make it look like his head is a grenade?!?? Part and parcel with this, no new album art this ep. I'll work on it later and upload accordingly.

And oh yeah, we discuss the movies a bit too.
