Here goes an episode where I just really want to reflect doing this podcast for the last 3 months. From bad to good (but still not great). I enjow the last 12 episodes that I did - It's really about having an audio diary of my thoughts at specific parts of my life. Looking back and listening to them, I realize how far I have gone. This is an audio reflection I recorded in March of 2021 when I started teaching. I talked about my early journey in coding - how I told assumed that I am an intermediate "coder" rather than a beginner, meeting my masters friends, and ending up to where I am now. Have you ever been in your bed, and you get this sudden low feeling that your life just is not going to the "plan". Well thats what i felt tonight - and I know a lot of people also feel that way. In this episode, I talk about wanting to do something just for "fun". There's an idea floating that you have to be the best if you wanna start doing something. But in my experience, that's rarely the truth. I started a lot of hobbies, and gave up on them - then came back even if I did not create. work of art. All because it was just FUN. While I'm sharing more about how i felt my career is going, I still do recognize that there's a part of my life that is growing - and that's my relationships and everything i'm doing outside of work. In retrospect, I had a realization that maybe the reason why I love working for Jollibee/ JFC so much is brought about by those childhood memories. And in looking into the future, being able to dine in that store again after the pandemic.
