PLL#5 Despite the fact that most Filipinos are bilingual, our ways of expression from the American language of expression differ in many ways. In this regard, Filipino immigrants and their children may experience cultural gaps and miscommunication in their relationships.
Some of these miscommunication can even result to negative imprints leading to feelings of not being good enough or unloved. To slowly change this trajectory is to inform yourself and find clarification on what is actually being said than simply interpreting what’s said.
