  • FAW Commentaries: "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker"
THE DEAD SPEAK! Film A Week Podcast returns after a hiatus with an experiment: A commentary on "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker."
Host Sergio Berrueta and Patrick Raissi watch the film along you all discussing our own thoughts on how the finale could have been better while the film plays, pointing out key moments we felt were great, better, or could have used more Lando Calrissian.
There is an intro before the commentary allowing you to sync up with the film. The commentary begins at 8:37 when "In a Galaxy Far, Far Away..." appears on screen.

  • Episode 9: "From Russia With Love" (Classics Revisited)
"The man the British will almost certainly use on a mission of this sort would be their agent, James Bond."
In this episode, hosts Serg Beret and Patrick Raissi head to Istanbul (not Constantinople) in a mission to stop SPECTRE from getting a decoder with James Bond (Sean Connery) in "From Russia With Love." Listen as they discuss the romantic tension between Bond and Tatiana Romanova (Daniela Bianchi), the epic toe-to-toe between Bond and Red Grant (Robert Shaw) and possibly the most anti-climatic ending of any Bond film. Plus, the boys discuss their faithful audience of only 5 people along with Sean Connery impressions galore.

  • Episode 7: "Rookie of the Year"
"Hey, you could even play for the Cubs!"
After a two month hiatus, film A Week Podcast is back to celebrate the Chicago Cubs miraculous 2016 World Series win with a less-than-miraculous film, 1993's "Rookie of the Year."
Hosts Serg Beret and Patrick Raissi, along with podcast editor Guillermo Morales, embark on the classic (we guess) tale of 12 year-old Henry Rowengartner (played by Thomas Ian Nicholas) freak accident that turned his arm into the perfect pitching arm and into a Cubs legend. Listen as the hosts struggle to talk about the blandness of the film, the remarkable crazy that is Gary Busey and an oddly entertaining mention of the old "Mighty Ducks" animated series.
