Now TMNT is a franchise that I've liked bits and pieces of but never fully invested my time into and I was hoping after the promising trailers for this new film with its unique visual style and interesting voice cast, that Mutant Mayhem would be the film to win me over.

In episode 169 of Film Focus, I give you my reviews for two of the biggest films of the year in the form of Barbie and Oppenheimer. I still find it bizarre and hilarious that we live in a world where both of these films were not only released on the same day but that the internet banded together to create the meme/movement/event known as "Barbenheimer". Now my interest in this franchise has definitely dropped off in recent years, but after Bumblebee in 2018, I did feel hopeful that this film series was on an upswing. And while the marketing didn't do much to excite me, I was still optimistic about Rise of the Beasts considering the inclusion of the Maximals.

In episode 163 of Film Focus, I share my thoughts on the latest superhero film from Marvel Studios in the form of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3! The Marvel Cinematic Universe just hasn't hit the same since Avengers: Endgame and even though I have enjoyed certain bits from Phase 4, overall. Marvel's output has been inconsistent and less captivating than in previous years.
